Cons: The hotel has a strong smell. We left the windows open I was ok. The girl from the front desk tried to help us with changing the room but the whole hotel has the same smell.

Cons: Bit run down in parts feeling a little shabby in rooms in parts - AC on full when arrived so bed felt cold / damp and then when left pyjamas smelt mouldy / stale after sleeping in bed so May have been damp ??

Pros: Simple yet clean rooms. Staff are nice. The pool area is lovely. The hotel is in a great location in our opinion as you don't get all the noise/chaos from the main streets in south miami beach.

Cons: No breakfast, only "a la carte" from the Café present within the hotel, which we found quite expensive compared to other cafés in miami. Would be nice if they could have a special price at least for hotel guests.

Extremely comfortable and convenient B&B...

Pros: The front desk welcomed us with “welcome home”, that made us instantly felt like home. The room was thoughtfully-designed and well-equipped with even slippers and bathrobes that normal hotels don’t have. My favorite thing was the stones in the shower that you stand on and massages your feet. The bed is comfortable. The hotel is 5 min away from the beach but yet in a quiet location. The courtyard cafe is extremely cute. It feels a lot like a bed and breakfast (B&B) experience.

Cons: The queen room we booked is a bit too small. I would’ve booked a bigger room but it was sold out.

Pros: Good location as we wanted to be close to the beach and shopping. The staff were helpful, and having access to the beach loungers was great. The room was clean with everything we needed. It's a character property and has an interesting history.

Cons: They only gave water for the first night, considering this was nearly £300 per night. I felt it was a little tight. The wall had 4 picture mirrors, which was great as a feature, but none were at a height for use. The only other mirror was in the bathroom.

Pros: The hotel was amazing! It was in the perfect location, super clean and extremely charming. The staff could not do enough for us and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was really good value for money and delicious. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Miami

Beautiful, quiet hotel close to...

Pros: Beautiful property. The room was exceptionally clean and the facility was well maintained. We enjoyed reading near the hot tub and both the pool area and coffee shop had a quiet secret garden feel which we appreciated. We enjoyed the live Jazz on a Friday night and ate one breakfast on the patio which was delicious. Would stay again if I were in the area.

Cons: Not a problem for us but travelers should no that there is no elevator so if stairs are a problem request a first floor room.

Convenient for a short trip.

Pros: The location is so convenient. It’s walking distance to the beach and all popular spots. We also enjoyed their cafe. It was very cozy.

Cons: The bed frame had a huge metal part sticking out. It was dangerous. We hit our leg couple times. We managed to push the mattress and cover it. Cleaning could’ve been better. It was clean but not Monica clean. You would understand what I mean.

The Cadet

Pros: Very clean, convenient location, art deco charm.

Cons: The rooms are very small and there is no longer guest access to the side garden/patio without buying something (coffee, wine, etc.) It's now open to the public with table service only. There's a garden area in the back but it closes early. The "hot tub" in the garden had cold water.
