    Pros: Proximity to Cancun airport. Nice beach. Food at Amber restaurant was very good.
    Cons: This hotel is not as advertised. The buildings are run down. Hot water is luke warm at best. Sewage smell dominated most of the property. The staff was not knowledgable about their own property or restaurant hours. The staff's English was limited.

    Pros: The food overall was quite good. The hotel had a fun aesthetic in the rainforest and most of the staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Great beach access and a good, intimate experience for adults and couples.
    Cons: During the last night of our stay, a person who was not a guest was allowed to spend time at the bar, mingling with paid hotel guests, deceiving them about his intentions. Thankfully, security eventually removed him, but the bartender was complicit.

    Pros: The food and drinks were good.
    Cons: Hotel staff stole our credit cards, cash and apple airpods The day of the checkout we left our bags with the reception and after pickup discovered credit cards, cash and Apple airpods missing from nags. We reported issue, hotel later claimed we didn't.

    It was very nice overall. Problems with the A/C and reaction times of the staff solving problems.

    Pros: The Staff was very friendly. The food was excellent at all times. The beach ist amazing.
    Cons: They have issues with the air conditioning. They had to move us from our original room to another room im the middle of the night. The air conditioning of the original room did not cool the room under 27C! And it was 34C outside with a humidity of over 80% at the time of our stay

    Pros: The rooms were beautiful and the staff was so kind. First class all the way. Beach was very well maintained even with the bad algae they were on top of it. White sand and clear blue water no rocks or debris to worry about stepping on.
    Cons: Even though it is all inclusive they do not let you take food from the restaurants and it is a $20 delivery fee to get food i your room. so unless you eat every meal at a restaurant plan on the extra cost.

    We had an absolutely amazing and wonderfully relaxing week at Blue Diamond and look forward to returning!

    Pros: Blue Diamond resort is a truly gorgeous, well maintained and beautiful resort. The sensitivity to the ecosystem and environment was wonderful and we felt very fortunate to be able to experience the natural jungle wildlife like spider monkeys coati, crocodiles, iguanas, wild deer and the many gorgeous birds. So special!! However, the true stars of the resort are the outstanding staff who provided VIP service and attention. We felt so warmly welcomed and appreciated. It was so lovely to see the staff interacting so warmly with each other and they seemed to be very happy and we always heard laughter. The room was spacious, lovely and very comfortable. It was great to always have a well stocked minibar with water and drinks and the housekeeping staff always kept the room clean. Please remember to take pesos to tip after meals and daily housekeeping. The theme nights and dinners were wonderful and especially the Fireshow was outstanding and the Mexican dancers and mariachi band were fantastic. The food was delicious and varied and at Ambar men are asked to wear pants and shoes, not sandals, it was lovely to get a little dressed up. We hope we can return soon for another visit and highly recommend Blue Diamond.

    Pros: The food was very good. The service also. The staff is very friendly and polite. Highly recommend to everyone who wants to spend some time in a quite and nice place.
    Cons: We had an issue with our room (a small animal made a nest behind the walls) what made a lot of noise during a night. When we mentioned to the staff, they sent a guy who couldn't fix it, so they offered a new room for us. After all, it was a success story and they managed it professionally.

    Pros: Super friendly and helpful staff! Every meal in our 5 night stay was fantastic and healthy. The wildlife on the property was an added bonus with spider monkeys and coati seen frequently right outside our room! Very relaxing adult vacation with modern architecture with a zen feel at the pool, spas and in the rooms. Not for those looking for a party environment ( but a short walk up the beach if you wanted that), more of a quiet, relaxing spot to be pampered at. Highly recommend and very likely to return

    Pros: 1. The resort is very pretty. 2. The people working at the pool, restaurants, and the golf carts are angels. 3. Cocktails at night are spectacular. The day bar tenders are good as well. 4. The resort is silent and I mean silent. No music or anything
    Cons: 1. Very poor management. 2. Basic amenities (plumbing and ac break regularly). 3. Food is nothing special and charge $20 for room service.

    Pros: The concept - boutique hotel in a little jungle, very private and relaxing, beautiful and spacious rooms, great food, really nice and clean beachfront, most importantly the staff was extremely friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and couldnt have asked for more

    Pros: excellent location, spa was fantastic and the staff was super friendly. beautiful property over all. we would definitely go back.
    Cons: our room was spacious with a great view of the lagoon but was missing the temperature control knob in the shower, the blinds were broken and the wooden floor buckled providing free splinters. the food was just ok, lunch being the best!

    Cons: The showers broke for >24 hours The air conditioning was not working in one of the restaurants which made it very uncomfortable to eat in (and work in if you were a member of staff) It was quite a long way to walk from one end of the hotel to the other.

    Disappointing!

    Pros: Beautiful setting and a slice of tropical heaven along with a few staff that made the stay special.
    Cons: Paid too much on arrival despite 10% app discount. Site advertises uses of private pool but this is wrong as you have to pay and book a spa treatment! Check in could have been much slicker. Dietary requirements were a constant struggle to get right despite numerous assurances and was often served food I could not eat. Booked onto activities that were all cancelled last minute and some (not all) staff were quite rude at times. Just not the experience I was hoping for.
