Disappointing

Pros: Great location, very central so easy to get everywhere

Cons: We were in a room opposite the hotel sadly next to a gymnasium that played loud music from 8am to 9.30 pm every day it was very noisy (even with the windows. Loses) and I requested a change of room but this was dismissed with no discussion. The room was very hot but if you opened the windows the noise was unbearable. I know the hotel have no control over this but it made our stay a bit disappointing. The room was ok. Clean on the surface but the bathroom tiles were mouldy and needed some attention. The pull down bunk beds for the children were clean and comfortable but the ladder had to be moved to act as the side railing overnight not really a problem until your child needs to get up in the night for the toilet and you have to move it from one position to another trying not to put all the lights on and wake everyone else up!! Its a tricky operation!! Breakfast was ok but not great. Staff were helpful with booking taxis and practical issues. I always think the best judge of any hotel stay is how staff deal with complaints (as mistakes happen) and would we go back sadly our complaint was dismissed offhand and I would not revisit this hotel.

Cons: For the amount we paid, I would not expect to have paper cups for coffee in the room. Our shower flooded over the floor easily and a plastic shower curtain that sticks to you is not what I call anywhere near a good bathroom.

Pros: Great location! Youre on the main promenade in about 1 minute but the alley isnt a main walkway, so its quiet.
