    Nice to have for a short visit in Istanbul

    Pros: Nice locationeasy to the most famous sightseeiings via T1 kindest hotel staffs like Ifan and Sima, also willing to offer supports and guidance, felt like as at home
    Cons: Rooms facing the road maybe a little noisy as the T1 passes through from6:00-23:00.

    Standard hotel in excellent location

    Pros: Hotel is in excellent location with walking distance to many historic buildings. Staff were all very friendly & extremely helpful. A standard selection of food for breakfast buffet was available. Very close to a busy tram line station which is useful but was extremely noisy during the night. Due to tram line running through on the main road so close outside the hotel has no access for taxis for drop off or pick, will have to walk a few yards to get to the hotel. The hotel bathrooms was a little run down and needing attention, although does have a delightful palace feel about the building.
    Cons: Very noisy at night with constant trams running outside the main road until 1am. The hotel is definitely not soundproof and will need a pair of earplugs. Only one very small lift which can only hold 2 people at a time. Room had no toothpaste or toothbrushes or em. Shower liquids & shampoo were much smaller than standard sizes. Towels and bed sheets had large holes in them, although were clean and replaced daily. I was very surprised that a hotel chain like Best Western had allowed this particular hotel to fall just under its usual standards. I felt the hotel probably just about meets level of 4 stars.

    BWEP is in a top location and is good value for money.

    Pros: The location to points of interest, transport, restaurants and shopping (eg grand bazaar and spice market) roof top bars/restaurants. We enjoyed the downstairs restaurant/bar for afternoon cocktails.. staff very friendly In particular the delightful Mehmet Can on the front desk who could not have been more helpful and the boys in the restaurant who were friendly and fun!!
    Cons: The linen on the bed was different to our lifestyle in Australia we are used to a sheet and not a light blanket! But we travelled to Turkey to embrace and experience the culture.

    Pros: Great location with walking distance to Topkapi palace, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, harbor. Good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff members, especially Irfan, who was very kind to upgrade the room for us, and Omar, who helped take our suitcases all the way to the upper street. Great team! The room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. Very nice breakfast.
    Cons: We did not like the noise from the outside street late at night. Taxi dont stop in front of the hotel because that street is closed for car traffic, and we had to walk for 3-7 min depending on a drop-off spot, which did not bother us at all, but maybe be hard for elderly people and maybe tricky with lots of luggage.
