Cons: The beds were rock hard- like concrete. The place is very run down as well. Nothing like the photos. The doors outside were noisy.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a decent location, only a short walk to train stations. The room was quite spacious. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Pros: Great little hotel in an unbelievable location. We walked all of Shinjuku and had a train station close by. Rooms quite basic but we anticipated this from the booking and brilliant price. Zero complaints about the hotel, very clean, quiet with very friendly staff. If I head back to Tokyo I will stay here again.

Cons: Only reason I didn't score 10 was the wifi, it drops out regularly.

Pros: Conveniently located and relatively easy to access to Shinjuku Station. Basic facilities, but that's all you would need for a quick stay before venturing out of Tokyo via Shinjuku. Friendly front desk gentleman. Recommended.

Good stay for basic needs, value for money.

Pros: Good location, near to Shin-Okubo station on the yamanote line and close to many convenience stores and restaurants (there is a 24-hr yoshinoya just opposite the station). We liked the constant hot water and strong water pressure from the showers which really feels good after a long day out. Air-conditioning is also pretty good, makes the room cold or warm enough whichever needed. Daily fresh towels and basic necessities like soap, shampoo, toothbrush, razor and combs provided. The 24-hour front desk is a bonus as it kinda makes me feel more secured always having somebody at the reception. Nice and helpful staff, a bit of language barrier but nothing google translate can't help. Wifi signal was intermittent but good enough. Stayed there for 8 nights and we would recommend this place as value for money that fulfils most basic needs.

Cons: Our room had a strong odour at night from the korean restaurant downstairs, but but the staff were very nice to accommodate our request for a change of room. Cleanliness standard overall still acceptable, but do not expect much. The bed was made up everyday, but we noticed the sheets were not changed daily. The room is not cleaned daily either as the same trash was lying in the same corner of the room for a few days. I also accidentally dropped something that rolled beneath the bed and when we moved the bed, there were loads of rubbish below the bed, which they should really clean after every guest checks out. The hairdryer was a bit disgusting as it had tons of dirt on the grill. They do not provide drinking water.

Pros: Perfect hotel for few days. Great and comfortable bathroom. They provide new towels and room service. Really good location and very amable staff.

Pros: Friendly and kind staff who were able to speak a bit of English. They let us borrow an umbrella on some rainy days. Good location, one stop by JR city loop line to Shinjuku. Korean restaurants around the neighborhood, with chances to try possum meat. Short walk to the convenience store and Don Quijote. Great price for the location and twin (futon) beds. Short distance to the Kabukicho entertainment district.

Cons: We were given one key between the two of us, which needed to be returned to the front desk each time before heading out. We can understand, but it's a bit inconvenient. Emergency service sirens often audible as there is a hospital somewhere nearby.

Pros: Really helpful and friendly staff. Were very accommodating. The room was great for the price, and it was in a convenient location close to public transport, food and shopping. We would stay there again.

Pros: The location of the hotel is good, it is in a Korean neighbourhood, got plenty of food options around, we even tried a massage place nearby. The location is near to two subway line one is yamanote line shin okubo station. The hotel is clean cause they clean up everyday during the 4 nights stay, changing towel everyday. The hotel provided microwave in the lobby can heat up food if needed. The bathroom has a bathtub and provided with shampoo and body shower gel. There is a Don Quitje nearby perfect for souvenir shopping.

Cons: The hotel provided simple amenities but good enough for the price paid.
