In conclusion. the Bali Summer Hotel is a great value for the money

Pros: My stay at the Bali Summer Hotel was good. There was a day when things were not good but overall the value and location for money were good. Cost wise this hotel is on the low end, but the room was spacious, and the decor was a bit dated but functional. The staff was good and helpful and the location was great. The place even has a pool. The only issue I had was with the internet connection. I impressed upon them before I arrived that I wanted a fast and reliable wifi connection. Upon arrival it was fast. Was loving it. However, the connection broke at about 2 o'clock am in the morning and wasn't fixed until late the next day. The good thing is I was able to find a great place to hang out during the day complete with a pool, music, food, and an outlet with fast wifi. So, the issue was solved. In conclusion. the Bali Summer Hotel is a great value for the money and they were apologetic for the Wifi disruption.

Pros: Location, pool, staff.

Cons: Had to look at a few rooms as 1st 2 rooms were very smelly (mould) and sheets were looking grey. Last room was perfect. To be honest you get what you pay for and this hotel was pleasant to stay in and the staff are lovely.

Pros: Great staff very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect.

Cons: The Aircon wasn't as good and at times it was hot for me in the room. But overall all it's ok the staff came and fixed it.

Cons: The first room I got wasnt I expected (the water was bad) and I had a complaint due to the picture of the room in the booking. Com is not the same as I got, after that they got me the same room in the booking.com.

Cons: Now I've stayed in plenty of budget hotels but this was poor. Admittedly we stayed during Nyepi (which is the only reason I would consider staying somewhere in this area) but service and standards were frankly bad. Both evenings we tried to eat dinner the tables around us were complained about cold and inedible food. 1 hour after my daughter ate fish and chips for lunch she was vomiting, she still was 3 hours later (evidence attached) and has been sick for the entire next day. She did had a watermelon juice so maybe avoid drinks. I always sterilise rooms with wipes at check-in including toilets, door handles , bed backboard and frames, side tables, switches and controls. Basically any major touch points but i can't rule out her getting sick from the room or pool but we only been here 14 hours so my guess is food or drink contamination. My wifes burger was negligently raw and my fried noodles seemed to have been cooked by a 5 year old. Our room smelled of sewage and old cigarette smoke the entire 2 day stay. They wouldn't accept any payment for food or drink other than cash. Floors are a death trap as when wet you are guaranteed to slip. Balcony roof leaking so floor was wet, as was the bedroom air conditioning unit. Yes you get what you pay for but spend an extra 5 dollars and you might get something better in this area, or maybe they are similar standard. I checked ahead about WIFI working for Nyepi and they said it's okay but it was maxing out at 7 MBPS (I did 2 speed check and that was the average) for around 50 rooms (estimated) so streaming anything, audio or video was hit and miss. Oh and the staff all jumped in the pool at 7pm while guests are hiding in their dark rooms, (maybe they are celebrating the 16 percent service tax they got away charging their captive audience with) . Pool is meant to be closed and all lights off for the day of silence once it was dark we were told... It's 7pm and the sun has already set.

Cozy nice but quite torn down place

Pros: Great staff, cute nice hotel with pool, fountain and Balinese style, comfortable bed, and nice wifi, but not in every room, very nice and cozy balcony view.

Cons: In some rooms the internet works bad, or even disconnects. Rooms are in quite a bad state, highly torn down, some doors almost won't open and locks don't work well, anyone could open my door cause lock is torn down and don't fit well. Some of the facilities are just not maintained at all.

Have stayed here several times and keep coming back because its like coming home.

Pros: Beautiful calm hotel with lovely gardens, great pool, spacious private room with very comfortable bed, good aircon and a fridge. The breakfast is delicious, and the hotel is in a central location close to the beaches and good restaurants. All staff were wonderful and very helpful.

Cons: Everything is great. A coat of paint and some repairs to damaged cabinetry would update the quality of finish.

Pros: The location is near the beach, the room is clean with the terrace, the staff are very friendly, the food is delicious, the pool is great, and the accommodation price is valued for money.
