Brilliant town centre hotel with everything you need.

Pros: Superb stay....staff were so good. Breakfast excellent & the location could not have been better. Best point was the roof top bar....Great staff, good cocktail selection & an amazing view of the Acropolis. Brilliant value for money

Wonderful

Great base for exploring Athens, with fantastic roof terrace views of Acropolis.

Pros: The location is marvellous- right in the heart of Athens and an easy walk to all attractions. The roof terrace bar is a great plus, even on a rainy evening you can enjoy the view of the floodlit Acropolis under a canopy. Also very easy to get to from airport - Metro line 3 to Monastaraki ( think Ive spelled that right!) and a 5 min walk from there. The double bed was lovely, big and very comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant.

Cons: Bit of a drainy whiff in public areas, but room itself fine. Cardboard cups with the tea and coffee facilities, which was very nice to have, but not overly generous. (Ie: 2 sachets tea, 2 sachets coffee,2 portions milk a day.) To be fair I expect one could easily ask for more at reception.

Excellenct location for exploring Athens

Pros: The hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Athens. Everything was within walking distance. Less than a 5 minute walk from the main square and metro. Rooftop terrace had a lovely view of the acropolis. Rooms and bathrooms a little bit dated but clean and comfortable so good value for the price and had everything you need including complimentary water and tea/coffee making facilities. Would happily stay again.

Cons: rooms and bathroom could be updated but was clean and comfortable and still good value for money.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay in Athens, thanks to Attalos Hotel! This hotel is so close to everything! Alot of eateries at your door step. Just Pita across the road has the best grilled meats! Metro stop next door. Easy Wash Laundry one street down. We asked for a rear room which did not face Athina Street, which means it is really quiet! Heard the church bells most mornings. Nice reception staff and housekeeping was very clean. Rooftop bar has reasonable prices and good views. We stayed for 10 nignts. I would recommend booking a room with balcony, it was nice having a coffee in the morning and hearing the church bells on the balcony before we started our day.

Pros: Amazing location, very accommodating, gave us the best room in the place - 606. Lovely staff. Roof top bar was amazing view. Food was good at breakfast, cocktails are amazing.

Great place for central Athens

Pros: A fantastic hotel located centrally and near the metro. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable with a large terrace and a view of the. Parthenon. Breakfast was great with a good selection of traditional greek foods. But best of all, the roof terrace had incredible views of the Acropolis and very reasonably priced drinks Highly recommended

Attalos is very good!

Pros: Great location very near Monasteraki Sq, flea mkt, hop on off tours, shopping, food, metro.

Cons: Hotel had several English speaking guests but not one English movie channel available.
