Crappy and will not stay...

Pros: Staff was considerate.

Cons: I booked the room for 2 nights. First night, crawled into bed and started feeling bites on my legs...couldn't get past that. Checked out the next morning before 5 am after being unable to sleep. Hotel will not refund my money for one or both nights because they said that they called pest control and were told that there were no bugs. Thus I was making it all up. When I checked out I asked for a refund and night manager said talk to day manager. Called day manager that day and was told call hotel manager. Waited 2 days, called hotel manager. Hotel manager said no refunds. Hotel also wants $100 cash security deposit which they request before giving you room key but if you get there and decide you don't want to pay deposit, you still have to pay for the room....no refunds. Hotel is old and not well stocked. Room did not have tissues, glassses, etc even though room was suite. Also, room was labeled as non-smoking but people had smoked in it. I could smell it through my cpap mask when trying to sleep on top of the covers.

Pros: Room updates were nice and comfy beds and the hotel location is safe for us with our travels to the metro area as inner city hotels, even 4-5 star we have personally found are unsafe with questionable folks that wonder, high thefts in cars and car parts is a worry and questionable circumstances with over all room and building quality and security. We arent picky and/or judgemental, but we feel very safe for ourselves and our property at this location. Quiet slow streets yet very close to shopping and restaurants just a quick mile away.

Cons: Strong stake cigarette smoke/third hand tobacco smell in lobby from first and second smoking. We stay there often and inside the actual rooms they smell clean and no cigarette or other odd smells.

Gross but they kept demeanor...

Not a clean place to...

Pros: I got my CASH deposit back. Restaurant next door was good for breakfast and dinner.

Cons: Room was barely cleaned...dirt/debris found alongside the entirety of the bed frame, a used dental flosser, random pill, the top of some plastic device found on the floor during stay. No counters were wiped down nor was the toilet cleaned..hair found on the backside of the toilet and along the walls within the bathroom. Microwave was greasy to touch on exterior and had a putrid smell if opened. Chair at the 'desk' in the room had multiple stains / discolored and the fabric was falling apart. a prong was broken off and still in the outlet near the sink. Exposed bare wires from the AC system under the unit touching the carpet. Extension cords being used for permanent fixtures which is a safety issue. Only stayed due to business trip and location to where I had to be for business. Bathroom shower curtain was discolored along the bottom. after I checked in, my room door was open; when brought up to front desk I was told that they must not have closed the door and that was all. No concern, no other explanation, no telling me the room still needs to be cleaned/worked on.

Short and sweet

Pros: The morning Staff was great and she always had answers to my question. Room was spacious and I appreciated the extra lounge chair for something to be in besides the bed. Bathroom and sink both looked like they had been recently renovated.

Cons: Sink unfortunately got clogged or something while staying, towels weren't the softest. Bathroom looked like in needed like an extra coat of bleach in the shower.

Cons: The cleanliness was a problem. The towels and washcloth were old and dingy. I met my bed the way I left it most time during my stay.
