Pros: The location seems nice, as it's surrounded by a big park. The kind staff at the reception.

Cons: Everything looks old, rusted, abandoned. The old furniture almost falling down, the foul smell of the moquette and its many stains, the filthy bathtub, the bed too soft and the sheets full of blood and make up stains, the noisy families with kids in their pyjamas shouting and running around the property, the herds of insects in the lobby and the many mosquitoes inside the room.

Pros: the smaller pool was nice, quiet. Rather than the bigger pool that is crowded. the jogging track was useful

Cons: hotel could use some interior renovation. it look old (design wise) but everything is still functional. One unpleasant experience is that our keycard could not access the room TWICE. when my kids really need to use the bathroom. so have to go to reception. they said because its too close to mobile phone?

Check in Procedure

Pros: The location is perfect, it's near malls, restaurant, university, cafe, cinema. The surroundings and scenery are quite nice.

Cons: The check in, when we arrived the rooms are not ready. We did not have the rooms we had books. The staff at receiptonist desk seemed confused. When we already at our room for about 3 hours, the staff called informed us that our rooms were not paid. The truth was she forgot to ask me to swipe our credit card, where actually when I checked in I had asked her if everything's OK..She said yes. I travel quite often, abroad and in the country, I know that usually although the rooms are booked, the payment is usually on hold until I arrived at the hotel. And usualy during check in, the hotel staff will ask for my credit card. It's a very inconvenient situation, because I stayed on 7th floor with my daughter and my husband & my son were on the 2nd floor.

Pros: Nice location and setting, away from the busier center of Jakarta, easy freeway access to and from the airport. Main lobby and dining areas inviting, clean and well kept. Great Bento box dinner and nice wine selection. Lots of amenities for recreation, which we didn't have time to take advantage of.

Cons: Our spacious cabana, looked lovely and inviting from the outside but when we walked in, it was obvious that it needed a deep cleaning (curtains stained, walls dirty etc), and a new paint job. Many of the floor tiles were cracked, chipped or broken and the room just looked tired. There were very few outlets, so charging electronic devices was difficult. The toilet ran most of the time we were there. We didn't bother reporting it as we were only there for 1 night and didn't want to deal with maintenance people in the room or to change rooms. Unfortunate interaction with the front desk staff; we asked to have our credit card charged in local currency vs US dollars and they said they did so but the printout reflected differently and we could not get them to change the billing. Our dinner bill was processed as we asked in local currency with no problem. We wanted to sit outside in the open air dining, but there was a nearby race track with squealing tires that interfered with having a dinner conversation or relaxing. Not our best experience overall.

I wish the management used the covid period to invest in refurbishing

Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was great. The maintenance for the greenery was great. The possibility to have a spa like jaccuzi and a sauna etc. was great.

Cons: The rooms! The bungalows definitely need a renovation, they are literally old and not at a standard for today's expectation. The rooms do not have a automatic power saving when removing the room card from. The bathrooms are very old. Our bathroom tap was probably not used for a very long time as the water was very dirty. So dirty that we had to call the house keeping.

Stay at Arayduta Lippi Village

Pros: The location was picturesque and the wedding we attended was on the linked golf course club house. This was very well organised and the food was excellent. The hotel breakfast buffet is authentically Indonesian with limited European fare. Be aware that beer is around the same price as the UK, but wine was over 20. The local shopping mall across from the hotel has a huge food forecourt where food is incredibly good value and very tasty.

Cons: As the villas/bungalows have wooden door frames, which do not fit tightly, you can be visited by lizards, gekos, and small ants. Little disconcerting in the middle of the night with the lizards. The rest of our party stayed inside the hotel so did not have this issue. You also need to apply insect spray whenever you are outside - night or day. As the outside stair case has marble steps it's very slippery when it rains. My wife slipped on the last step injuring her back. Staff ensured the steps were immediately dried but it could have been such different story if she had hit her head.
