We loved this hotel and its location, great staff.

Pros: modern but still had charm.

Cons: nowhere to lie in the sun/ shade on site, apart from the balcony and outside on the restaurant terrace there was no area for sun loungers. I would recommend visitors bring sun loungers so they can go to the beach area.

Pros: The location is fabulous. The rooms beautiful and clean and large. The restaurant, food and all staff were fabulous. The only minor problem was that it was very hot and the mattress protector was plastic underneath so was very warm to sleep on. Otherwise this is an absolutely fabulous hotel in every way!

This lovely gem of a hotel greatly exceeded my expectations!

Pros: Lovely boutique hotel in gorgeous location on Lake Maggiore. Loved the view of the lake from our lake-view suite. Suite was a very good value. Hotel rooms are bright, fresh, clean, and well-appointed. Comfortable beds. Air-conditioning worked great. The bathroom was large (for Europe) and very nicely done. Good lighting. Breakfast was goodall you would expect in a European continental breakfast. Eggs made any way you want upon request. Espresso drinks also made upon request. Hotel staff were gracious and helpful. Wonderful stay!

Cons: The only thing Id like additional would be a small coffee maker or Nespresso in the room for us early risers. But this is certainly not much of a concern, as breakfast starts at 8am.

Cons: There were problems with the TV only German channels the girl at the reception try to solve it but was impossible to get British channels or Swiss, then book a table at the restaurant x the evening but when I arrived the table I choose was taken by some German customers and a young inexperienced waiter told that people with rooms have priority But I also got a room!!!

Pros: The location is great and the hotel is clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly.

Cons: We stayed five years ago for our 20th anniversary and had a lovely room - we booked a suite again but its not really a suite, plus the view wasnt as good. We left early for the Maggiore Express one day and an earlier breakfast couldnt be provided. We were given fruit, a couple of rusks and some instant coffee, but no butter and no cups (despite asking for them!). Also, the breakfast buffet isnt brilliant.

Perfect property in a wonderful location.

Pros: The property was in a wonderful location. A boutique hotel with friendly helpful staff and a good breakfast. The restaurant was also good at dinner with options for food intolerances. The rooms were large and quiet with fantastic uninterrupted views over Lake Maggiore. Parking was no issue as we could park close to the hotel with a free permit. Cannero Riviera is a lovely hidden gem.

Pros: The location is exceptional. We had a nice corner room overlooking the lake. The beds were comfortable, the furniture was nice, the food was good and the breakfast small but solid. Overall a nice boutique hotel, with an exceptional view and friendly staff. Would book again anytime.
