careless personell. I never-never-never will stay here again

Cons: I checked into the hostel for 2 nights. But in the evening after the first night, I discovered that my bed and room had been made, and my things, left in the bathroom and in the closet, were missing: soap, toothpaste and toothbrush, as well as a cosmetic bag with medicine, glasses and a shaver. Slippers, a T-shirt, and even dirty panties and socks. It looked like the cleaner had cleaned up the mess and taken all my stuff. I went down to the reception and reported what had happened (at about 21.00). The receptionist said he couldn't help me in any way. Most likely the cleaner put my things in a special closet and I need to wait until the next morning to open the closet and check if my things are there. It is impossible to contact the cleaner by phone and there is no spare key to the storage room for forgotten items. I wrote to the main office of the hostel, but they also advised me to contact the reception. This advice turned out to be completely useless. The next day at about 13.00 I returned to the reception again and the employee told me to wait until they solved my situation. But no one was going to do anything. Half an hour later I went to the reception again and the employee asked me to describe the things that had disappeared from my room. I did this... and after 5 minutes the employee told me that they checked the box of forgotten items, which is located at the reception, and found nothing. (it turns out that there is no room that was locked by the janitor, but only a box of forgotten things) and did not find any of my things. According to the receptionist, my belongings were stolen by the people who shared the room with me. But this is complete nonsense... They didnt even try to understand the situation and help me. In total, I lost the necessary medicine (I am allergic), glasses (280 Euros) and an electric razor - in total about 350 Euros. No one even apologized...

Pros: You get what you pay for, a comfortable, clean place to spend the night and to take a shower. Breakfast is really good aswell.

Cons: Most of the staff were either rude or not bothered to utter more than 2 words at once. The bunk beds URGENTLY need a better ladder to climb up the top bunk, you risk breaking your legs everytime you try to scale it.

A great hostel, well placed for the main Hamburg railway station.

Pros: Our room was excellent and much better than expected. The shower in the en suite worked perfectly. It is close to Hamburg HBF, just a 10 minute walk away.

Cons: It is surrounded by quite busy roads, and is a little tricky to find.

Cons: everything was good except there were many high school students staying at the same floor as us and it was so loud because of that. However, it wasnt a problem due to the property itself

Cons: There are no other fire exits and available fire extinguisher nearby. There was fire alarm around 3am, somebody smoked inside the building. Rooms are dirty. Only two beds were made. I put the bed sheets and blankets myself. Only 2 towels were available. The building is not sound proof.
