    Nice room and ski hire and storage, not a well connected resort

    Pros: Room was good with useful storage, fridge, kettle etc, bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was a very nice wetroom. Access to on site ski shire and boot lockers was very good. The ski shop was very helpful and equipment was very good. Breakfast was excellent with a range of coffee, teas, fruit, juice, cheese, meats and eggs - something for everyone. A lot of quirky wall art.
    Cons: I would recommend others to be clear on hotel "extra" charges, for example 20 Euros for a session in the spa after 2pm which consists of a very small pool, sauna and steam room (we managed 30 mins in there) Breakfast was 19 Euros . Evening dinner was very busy with not enough staff - we waited c45 mins to be served. The menu is very mixed, I had a carbonara which was cooked at the table with undercooked fatty lardons and egg that became scrambled. We also selected some wine which was not available, the sommelier offered an alternative but did not advise that this was twice the price which we realised too late when settling our final day hotel bill. The hotel is on the Calvert side of the mountain, to be able to ski back to the hotel you need to plan to get back to this quite separate area (Serre Thibalt lift or walk across the road to the Calver gondola)

    Great location. Friendly staff and wonderfully decorated.

    Cons: This was the only disappointing thing about the hotel. I think the breakfast is pretty limited and not enough choice. I agree with the principle of providing less which equals less waste. I think more local cheeses and cold meats could be offered.

    Pros: modern decor staff friendly
    Cons: no spa whilst skiing and only available free of charge in the day for a couple of hours. `one night they had a local party which completely took over their so guests could not eat in the restaurant or drink in the bar as so full of locals and their kids and music until late and we were not informed of this prior to checking in

    Good hotel, nice town, service needs improvement

    Pros: The rooms were spacious. Good location. Easy access to slopes.
    Cons: Organisation is bizarre for dinner and it took up to 3 hours and there was always something missing for the group. We often felt like we weren't welcome.

    Pros: Nice hotel with a good junior suite for couples with kids. Good food, if a bit expensive.

    Good

    Overall a good stay, restaurant was nice and staff were friendly/helpful.

    Pros: Room was a good size with a nice balcony. Bathroom was fairly good.
    Cons: The twin beds upstairs were tiny! They were really difficult to sleep in, but there was plenty of room upstairs... you could have got two double beds in! So that was a real shame. Also, frustrating the spa was not free to hotel residents all day.

    had a great time and would go back

    Pros: everything was very nice, the spa and facilities were good, rooms were good and great location
    Cons: the room was just a bit smelly thats all that was wrong and breakfast for us was didnt really suit our taste and again a bit pricey as well as the spa was a bit much per person

    we stayed here 6 years ago and it was just as good as we had remembered

    Pros: friendly staff, good food, ski to door, live band in bar one evening, open fire in bar, swimming pool & spa, lovely decor
