Wonderful
I’d like to say thank...

Pros: I like the location of the property. It’s 5 mins walk from Little Tokyo Metro station which is connected to Union Station where you can catch the FlyawayBus to/from LAX airport. The location is safe and has amazing restaurants in the neighborhood. I love japanese food and we were on the right place to enjoy authentic restaurants. The hotel has shared bathrooms and the room is enough for 2 people. It has mini fridge and small tv. We got 1 window which is the most important thing for me when renting a room. It’s next to night bar and restaurant, but it did not bother us much. On our 3rd night, there were bunch of guests that were so loud, shouting, and partying next to our room. I am glad that the hotel people managed to remove them before things get worse. Also you’ll meet homeless people around the area, but I think It’s normal around America. We did not experience anything bad, the neighborhood is pretty much safe for tourist and first time visitors of USA. Over all It’s worth the price consider you are in LA. Not a fancy hotel but more than enough to have a peaceful stay and it keep safe our belongings while we are away.
Cons: I didn’t expect anything fancy considering the low price of the hotel. So everything here met my expectation.

Awesome Room and Location!

Pros: I loved my stay here! It was a much better experience than what I was expecting. I flew into LAX and used the LA Metro to get to the hotel. It's a little bit of a walk from the Little Tokyo Station to the hotel but it's doable. When you arrive the door will be locked and you have to ring the bell for them to let you in. Once you check in they will provide you access to go in and out as you please. The other reviews don't lie. Masuma was the best when she checked me in! She was very friendly and pleasant to talk to and made sure I was all settled in. The other person at the front desk was also very helpful during my stay. I believe his name was Moses, he would ask if everything was alright and even provided me with complimentary bottles of water. The actual room was very nice in my opinion. I knew the bathroom was shared so I was expecting more of a private hostel type room. It was really a hotel room though with how spacious and clean the room was. I think initially I booked a room with a single queen bed and a couch, but I got placed in a room with a queen bed and a bunk bed. I was ok with this because I got to see how that room looked like and now I can plan to bring my family next time we go to LA. There's a small table where you can eat or work on a laptop. The bathroom was also very clean and spacious. My room was right in front of the men's bathroom so it kind of felt like it was a part of my room. I also never saw anyone else in the bathroom. It could have just been the time I was there there weren't many guests, but it felt like it was my own private bathroom. It always smelled and looked like someone had just cleaned it every time I went in which I liked. The location is also very good. It's in a very quiet area in the Arts District, but it's close enough to walk to where it's busier like in Little Tokyo. I felt very safe during my stay. The building is locked 24/7 and is only available to guests.
Cons: The one thing that was missing was a microwave and the TV was very small and the signal wasn't very good. Other than that I was very impressed with the room.

Cool little hotel in an...

Pros: Close to museums and downtown area. Clean rooms. Lots of places to eat around the hotel. A beautiful vegan restaurant across the street with smoothies and great breakfasts that are healthy. (not a vegan but liked it). A specialty sausage restaurant, noodle bar. Good room with a couch and a fridge. Hanging space. Moe on reception was great. Great little hotel with exposed brick walls and red highlights. Secure door. Cool street art around the surrounding streets. Parking nearby was cheap. Would stay again.
Cons: No lift and we were on the 3rd floor. Would not suit somebody who could not do the stairs. The shower stall had a really grimy chair that could do with a good scrub. Our floor had no hot water for showers. We went upstairs and used the showers so all good but again if you struggle with stairs this would be an issue. Couple of dodgy streets but just avoid them and go down a different street, this street seemed ok. Didnt have a problem with the homeless, they are just there trying to exist.
