Highly unprofessional

Cons: The room I had reserved was a junior suite with balcony and lake view. What I got was a junior suite with terrace and direct garden access on the lowest possible floor. There was very little lake view. I looked at garden, bushes and people some 2 meters away from the terrace. The view was entirely different from what I had paid for. The staff reacted highly unprofessional to my complaint, so eventually the customer service from booking,com had to interfere. They did so (no complaints in this respect), but until the last day of the stay the managment was unable to accept that "This spacious suite features a balcony" is violated if a "room with direct access to the property's garden" is assigned instead. And on entering: they threatened me to not give me any room, unless I allowed them to write down the secret code of my credit card on a sheet of paper for them to keep.

Cons: This place is 5 star !!! For the power , u need an adapter , so my wife go to the reception , do u have...oooo' well if u want it now go the a shop... its in other rooms , wife came back told me the story - I lol...u make a joke right ,' NOPE for real , NO...Yes he told me that. about 30 min a lady came to bring it , ok , but why tell it like this . Water bottles - its not free I am close to 60 Y and we travel a lot , but never I pay for water in my room. 5 star place remind U .

Pros: Rooms spacious, comfortable bed, nice toiletries in bathroom. Great view if you get a lake view room. Breakfast very good. Nice pool area. Good location, very easy to walk in to town.

Cons: They did have a couple of power cuts, but it didnt last too long.

Pros: The room was large and comfortable. Good wifi. Friendly and helpful staff. Attractive pool and gym, though no resistance machines and a very small selection of weights. Bistro/bar has panoramic views and is a great place to spend an hour or two as the sun is going down.

Cons: Breakfast selection rather limited for a 5* hotel and the breakfast room/restaurant has a barn-like feel - great views though. Nobody welcoming/checking breakfast guests. The Bistro food menu was surprisingly basic for a luxury hotel. Walk to town required navigating narrow pavements under construction on a busy road.

Beautiful part of the world

Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. My room had beautiful mountain, water and garden views. Breakfast was great and room service was excellent. 10 mins walk and you were in the main town where there were many different restaurants and live entertainment. The mountains of Patagonia were magical, it really is a special place.

Cons: Staff was friendly but not capable in several situations. For example: Obviously the guideline for the staff is that the guest has to pay the room when he arrives. That would not be a problem for us, but it happened twice (first time at check in, second time when asking for a room upgrade the next day) that the staff at the counter forgot about it and then ran after us and cat-calling at us in the staircase that we have to come back and pay. And the second time (room upgrade) we then had to wait a few minutes at the counter because the one and only staff member doing the payment was hanging on the phone. When I asked to pay later after coming back from dinner they denied because it had to be right now. That whole issue left us behind with a feeling of being seen as not being capable of paying the bill. Like being a trickster or impostor, in short not being good enough for the hotel. In my opinion being a 5 star hotel is more than just having all the conveniences.

Pros: Nice location, beautiful view. Rooms were Ok, but on the small side. Overall, did not feel like a 5 stars hotel to me.

Cons: Price point is not right for todays Argentina. Staff were Ok, but not great.

Beautiful hotel in Bariloche

Pros: Spacious, comfortable rooms with beautiful views of the lake. Excellent breakfast, helpful staff, and lovely spa facilities (with free pool, as well as other spa services you can book for very reasonable prices). Walking distance to Central Bariloche.
