Pros: Noo at the front desk was sincere and actually attempted to make up for the terrible first night.

Cons: Unlike what was advertised, this property is not wholly beachfront but separated into two plots separated by a road and children are not allowed in the beachfront villas. When asked, the hotel blamed booking.com for the misrepresentation but their website also fails to disclose the same. We checked in around 7pm and were tired and hungry. The lights in the room were partially out of order (the wardrobe area which would have made it impossible to see our luggage contents) and instead of switching us to another room, we sat in the room while the maintenance staff went in and out 3 times trying to fix the fault. When they finally realized it wasnt going to get resolved, they switched our rooms (only upon our request). The new room had a strange smell which we later found out was dried urine all over the back of the toilet. We had also tried to order food via their in room iPad which was not working and were told that we had to download an app, set up an account before we could order food - not what you want when youre tired and hungry. After the staff realized the iPad issue wasnt going to get resolved, she called the restaurant staff over to take our order. Upon voicing our concerns the next day, the manager was apologetic but not terribly concerned about addressing the issues. The only front desk staff who was genuinely trying to attempt service recovery by upgrading our room was Noo and he is the only reason why we decided to stay on at the property. The kids club was average and the staff wasnt always present. As of todays date, Aleentas website still does not seem to have been updated to reflect that the resort isnt wholly beachfront.

Pros: The workers are very nice, very helpful, they seek to restore you and your comfort during your stay, the calmness and comfort of the place is far from disturbance, suitable for relaxation, the breakfast is complete and delicious, as well as dinner and coffee

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy

Pros: We stayed in a Ocean View Villa for 4 nights. The villa is very spacious and the view is beautiful. The breakfast has many choices and it is very good. We especially like the beetroot yogurt, looks pretty and tastes yummy. The staff in the restaurant is very friendly, especially Mam. There was even a surprise when we asked to celebrate birthday in the villa. Overall, we had a wonderful time during our stay.

Cons: The location is not in the popular tourist area. So its better to rent a car to explore the island. But we enjoy the peaceful atmosphere there. Not many people and we can really enjoy the vacation.

Cons: Beach was not usable in low season and was full of litter, even though its not the resorts own beach it would still be nice if they kept their portion tidy and free from litter

A Fantastic Stay - Wholy Recommended!

Pros: Beach was beautiful and venue was lovely. Staff had excellent service, and even gave us a free upgrade to the beach front villa which was spectacular. Noo (manager) was excellent, and so was the lovely manager at The Edge restaurant. Very friendly!

Cons: Other than the first day's breakfast, the subsequent breakfast's was less satisfactory. The hash browns became cold and soggy. Also, the water pressure from the shower head was a little soft for our liking, but that's just a pet peeve! Despite these niggles, it's a great stay!!
