Florence is expensive and this hotel was good for the price. Would recommend but bring supplies

Pros: Handy for the tram into Florence and found a lively local restaurant nearby.

Cons: We arrived late so would have appreciated some water in the room on arrival. Vending machine rather a coffee machine so we didn't use. Some kind of refreshment in the room would have been nice.

Pros: The hotel seemed far from the center but there was a tram line (T1) withing walking distance passing through the center, which was reaaly good in this way. Reception staff were helpful. The room was big enough for one person and the furnishings were in good condition.

Cons: I didn't like the bathroom and shower cabin part. The shower cabin was a part of the bathroom with a thin curtain. It's such a small space that you have to touch either the shower curtain or the wall while taking a bath. It didn't feel clean to me. I also noticed that there was an odor coming from the drain from time to time. My room was facing a side where traffic was heavy and therefore noise was coming from outside. This is not hotel's problem I know and it is okey. But one morning I was woken up by a woman, who I assumed was from the cleaning service, talking loudly in the corridor, and this continued for a while. It's not nice to be woken up like this at 08:30 in the morning for someone who is on vacation :(

Pros: The room was clean and comfortable and was as pictured online. When I needed help to get inside, I was able to reach someone who was able to help despite the fact that I only speak English. The owner also quickly responded to messages through the Booking app.

Cons: There was a fair bit of noise from the hallways, though thankfully not enough to keep my kids from sleeping. I had thought that someone would be present at the desk during the check in hours of 11am to 8pm but there was no one there when we arrived at 2pm.

A cozy hotel where you won't sleep

Pros: Lovely service and cleanliness in the room. Opening the hotel with a code conducive to the sense of security in the facility. Next to the hotel, there are buses and a streetcar, so the hotel is very well connected with the rest of the city. In addition, there is a local supermarket nearby with prices much better than in the centre. The air conditioning is very efficient and makes a sleepy sound which helped a lot at night :) In addition, the fan on the ceiling was very cool. Contrary to other reviews, I find the mattress at the hotel very comfortable. Another plus was the size of the room and the presence of a roomy closet and a desk for work.

Cons: The room has no soundproofing; you can hear whispers from the rooms next door through the door. During my week-long stay, I have already experienced babbling children, barking dogs and all-night conversations. An additional effect is the windows, the inner part of which has a pane of glass inserted loosely in the frames, which meant that at night whenever a garbage truck or bus drove by, a shock wave from the resonance of the glass resonated throughout the hotel, which would wake the dead. Fortunately, I found a way to do this - you need to leave the interior windows open and put a piece of paper between the glass and the frame so they do not vibrate. Unfortunately, it took me three sleepless nights to develop this system ;) Replacing the windows and doors with soundproof ones would raise the class of this hotel by about two stars ;) There is a problem with electrical outlets, which are few and in strange places - moreover, it is good to equip yourself with an adapter from Italian sockets because only one socket accepts thick European pins - I had to charge my laptop at the door and then move to work at the desk on battery.

Not what I expected but it was enough for us

Pros: Even though the location is somewhat far from the center, with public transport we were able to easily get to the center. The staff were friendly, even though it was hard to understand each other as they did not speak English.

Cons: It was difficult getting in the hotel the first time. The garden view is actually of a concrete wall that behind it had a garden. The bathroom was small and dirty. There was a child crying often in the morning and you could hear it very easily.

Pros: I really like the friendliness of the staff. The bed was comfortable and the room was okay.

Cons: Even though the staff was friendly, it was a bit of a challenge to speak in English. Also, I think it was an overpriced stay. It is not close to the city center as well.
