Good for a overnight stay.

Pros: Was close to everything. Beds were very comfortable.

Cons: The room had a weird smell like it has been closed for a long time and not used. The place was spotless clean but the smell was even in the clean sheets.

Pros: The location was convenient - had an event at Eat Street Northshore. Convenient to shops, airport and the city. Price was okay, considering, but the unannounced room charged of $103 means I wish Id booked elsewhere.

Cons: Check-in closes at 5pm - utterly ridiculous for an Airport International. Union trying to check in, they had to place a room deposit on my card - absolutely nowhere does it say thered be a room deposit. Speaking to four other guests, there were not charged one. Stated this on check out, staff were defensive and stated it is part of their policy - again, cannot find this. They then said theyd release the hold, and it would take 10 minutes- four hours later and Im still waiting. The hanging light has its wires twisted around on themselves which is a fire hazard. One of the bedspreads were stained. There was no microwave, fridge wasnt cold. Massive cracks in walls and ceiling with plaster coming down in places. Shower had minimal water pressure, toilet was worse. Light beside bed is broken. Room information needs updating, and to include where to eat and drink since their restaurant is closed (all information in room states room service is available, but on the sites it states it isnt). Top sheet is tucked in with the bottom flat sheet in such a way, you cannot pull it out without pulling out the bottom sheet - which is the incorrect size, good luck remaking your bed every time you move. Windows, window tracks and gap between the windows need cleaning. Shower needs cleaning and some grout replacing before there is significant water damage. Entrance to hotel also needs a deep clean.

Fair for price, close to airport

Pros: Good location. Only 10min to airport and close to shops, one of which is my new favourite Vietnamese in this part of Brisbane.

Cons: For starters the GPS couldnt find the property very easily, which was frustrating given we were pressed for time already. Upon arrival to the desk, even though the staff were friendly enough there wasnt much in the way of a welcome and there was a strong odour of alcohol near the front door. The restaurant and bar were closed until further notice and there were no bottle shops nearby. The room was very basic, tidy but nothing more. The TV didnt have a guide function and it took too long to find a guide for Foxtel on Google. There was lipstick left on one of the wine glasses, cigarette buts outside the window and only tea and coffee as refreshments no caffeine free alternatives available. The bed was too soft and the pillows very thin.

Cons: This was our second stay here and Im not sure if we got an older end of the building but it was definitely showing signs of age such as broken and/or loud taps, massive cracks in the walls. I probably wouldnt stay here next time.
