The Hankyu Dai Ichi Hotel Group, also known as Hankyu-Hanshin-Daiichi Hotel, is one of the leading hotel chains in Japan. Its owner, Hankyu Hanshin Holdings, Inc. is a 7-business-core system, operating urban transportations, entertainment, information and communication technology, travel, international transportation, and hotels. With this much power, it is no wonder that the Hankyu Dai Ichi Hotel Group has 46 hotels all over Japan with more than 10,000 luxurious hotel rooms. In 2007, the chain opened their first remm hotels which focus on assisting guests to get a good night’s sleep which is a common problem for travelers.
In 2017, the brand built its largest remm hotel with 400 guest rooms in Roppongi. There are a total of five remm hotels operated by the brand in Hibiya, Akihabara, Shin-Osaka, Kagoshima, and Roppongi. This may be the only brand that has the H2H (home to home/home away from home) recognition despite its being a luxury chain. The Hankyu Hanshin Holdings, Inc. also manages The Ritz Carlton Osaka so the Hankyu Dai Ichi Hotel Group is managed in the same high standards and with the similar high quality hospitality service. In 2018, the Hankyu Hanshin Holdings Group’s generated revenue was $7,080,673,900 from all its businesses’ operations.
