The economy hotel will feature 470 rooms in 10 stories while the upscale brand will come with 430 rooms in 9 stories.

With the two new hotels along with the five-star Granvia Hotel, JR West hopes to meet the growing demand for accommodation in Kyoto amidst a spike in the number of overseas tourists. They are both designed to accommodate foreign and domestic travelers visiting Kyoto either for leisure or on business.
