Trevi: A City On The Hill
Travelling to Trevi is already a beautiful site to see already for its hillside view. It is located on a hillside in the heart of Umbria. It was originally a province of the Pap States, but due to political power exercised by the powerful families that city became its own suburban community with its own cultural and artistic heritage. The city is trailed with medieval streets and walls that date back to the 13th century. Churches and chapels also fill the place with historical and cultural beauty. It was also in the town where natives of Trevi printed and published the famous Divine Comedy in 1472.

Visiting Trevi is best during warm weather to really enjoy touring the city. September and October are ideal months for comfortable weather. Shrove Tuesday is a 3-week-long music festival during August, which is a great event to see and experience when in Trevi.

There are a lot of popular historical sites to see in Trebia but there are also sites that are less popular but should be a must-visit when visiting the city. The Santo Stefano di Manciano is a hilltop church that had been an important outpost for its strategic position during the struggles between the different cities. The remains are only the external walls in an elegant semi-circular apse and the crypt. There is also the Tempietto of the Clitumnus, which means "small temple", is a Roman temple that served as an artistic symbol for Renaissance architects.
