Ponca City Regional Airport – PNC Ponca City
The Ponca City Regional Airport is one of the 149 airports in Oklahoma. It is located two miles northwest of Ponca City, Kay County, U.S. State of Oklahoma and serves Ponca and the nearby areas. The airport was officially opened in 1938 and was taken over by United States Army Air Forces during the Second World War. Also during that period the airport was home to several pilot military trainings. In 1944, all trainings were ended. It was returned to the local government of Ponca City after the war.
