MaramureșInternational Airport – BAY
Located on the northwestern side of the country, Maramureș International Airport is a public-use airfield operated by the Maramureș County Council. While it is geographically under the rule of the town of Tăuții-Măgherăuș, the airport handles most of the passenger traffic from the nearby town of Baia Mare, Romania. As the historical region of the county, Baia Mare accommodates quite a number of tourists every year, making the airport one of the busiest in the country.
