If you’re looking for a hot escape where you can ditch your raincoat, then Scottsdale is perfect for you. May through September are extremely hot – high temperatures hover near 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The winter months are a much more comfortable, but still warm, temperature with November to March averaging in the 70s and 60s during the day.
When to Visit
When planning your trip to Scottsdale, November through March are great weather wise. The peak travel time in Scottsdale is February and March because of the many festivals and spring training events. if you’re looking for the best deals visit in April when temperatures are higher, but the crowds are smaller.
Transportation
Old Town Scottsdale is a very walkable area with restaurants, shops, and art all nearby. If you don’t want to walk, there’s a Trolley. Also, you can rent a variety of transportation options such as bikes, scooters, or even golf-carts. Of course, if you prefer driving a car you can always rent a vehicle when you land in the Phoenix airport and drive it 20 minutes to Scottsdale.
