Renovations were undertaken from 2006 to 2009. The main architect for the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre is Larry Oltmanns. There are six floors, and the original Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre building stands on reclaimed land. The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre features a bird-like rooftop design. It is able to handle up to 140,000 visitors a day.
