The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, AVP, is based in Pittston Township, Pennsylvania. The airport lies in between Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. It is operated and owned by the Luzerne and Lackawanna Counties and is the fifth biggest airport in Pennsylvania. The entire terminal spans 910 acres and caters to several airlines, including United Express, Southwest Airlines, Delta Connection, and Delta Air Lines, Inc.
