Caroli Hotels has a rich history to share and started out as a dream both by Attilio Caroli and Gilda Nuzzolese in 1965. Former teachers and considered as rookies in the hotel and management industry, Attilio Caroli together with his brothers and his father Cosimo braved the hospitality business and added the niche to their already successful wine and oil trade businesses.
Caroli Hotels is a hotel chain brand built by a family. With the help of Attilio’s daughter Maria Domenica and his son-in-law, Mario, the surgeons focused on the hotel and accommodation art and helped in the expansion of the Hotel Terminal in Santa Maria di Leuca, a Caroli Hotels flagship hotel. Completed in 1976, this served as the humble beginnings of the Caroli Hotels brand.
The third generation of the Caroli-Caputo family paved way to create more hotels under the Caroli Brand. Several acquisitions were also made by the Caroli family to be able to expand the business. These include the Joli Park Hotel, Villa La Meridiana and Bellavista Club. At present, Caroli Hotels supports and manages over a thousand beds and also launched the Caroli House & Boat brand as a unique offering to tourists and travelers looking for a more unique hospitality and accommodation experience.
