Ningbo Lishe International Airport - NGB Airport is a public airport in Ningbo, China. Ningbo is the second largest city in the province of Zhejiang and one of the developed cities in the Yangtze River Delta region. It is surrounded by nearby cities such as Anyan, Guisi and Zifeng. The primary NGB airport was opened in 1982 as the military Ningbo Zhuangqiao Airport but it was only opened for service as a civil airport, a first of its kind in Zhejiang in 1990. By 2002, a new reconstruction was implemented that improved the airport facilities. Lengthening the runway to 3,200 meters. In 2012, NGB airport was hailed as the 29th busiest airport in the country in terms of cargo traffic. Overall, NGB airport only has three cargo airlines but ships more that 52,000 tons of cargos.
