Pulkovo Airport – LED Airport
Pulkovo Airport is formally known as the Fyodor Dostoyevsky International Airport. It is an international airport that serves the city of St. Petersburg in Russia and Leningrab Oblast. The airport is a hub for Aeroflot airlines and is also the focus city for Smartavia airlines. It consists of only one terminal, Terminal 1.

LED Airport officially opened in June of 1932. It first started as a state-owned domestic airport before it became an international airport. As of 2017, Pulkovo Airport had 16,125,520 passengers pass through its terminal. This makes the airport the 4th busiest in Russia as well as in the Post-Soviet States. It is also one of the largest airports in both Russia and Eastern Europe. The new terminal has officially been opened. It was designed by Grimshaw and includes a master plan of having an airport that represents and responds to the heritage and climate of the city. With the master plan, the airport is said to be able to transfer up to 12 million passengers in a year. Residents from the nearby cities of Aleksandrovskaya, Grazhdanka, and Krasnogvardeysky District find the JED Airport to be a popular choice for air travels.
