Pros: The hotel is not good, because in booking system so expensive. Normally the hotel price around 25$ dollar US. The staffs are not good. In reception receptionist man his name Bora, he is not good staff. And breakfast also so bad. I didnt like the hotel. I am not advice the hotel to others

Pros: From the moment i arrived the gentleman on the front desk greeted me with a smile and was so polite. I asked for a nice room and they gave me a choice of 2 rooms and told me to pick the one i wanted. The hotel is central and is near to the metro. I travelled alone and was made to feel welcome

Very poor - I would not recommend it to anyone.

Pros: Nothing was good.

Cons: Breakfast was poor, it had limited options, food tasted like it was from previous days. Room was so small, we couldnt even walk around. We asked for a cot and it wasnt provided. We asked for a double bed but was provided 3 single bed. The room service was very poor and it felt like the staffs morale was very low as they werent working to guests expectations. The staff in reception were very moody and didnt want to help out.

Pros: Due to the fact that it is located in the center of the city and the market, the space around the hotel is naturally crowded, but with double glazed windows, the sound outside is not annoying. The hotel staff is hospitable and spends time with the hotel guests.

Cons: Two small things that should be considered in the future, one is that the light in the rooms is low. Second, toilet faucets need to be inspected.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay .

Pros: Friendly service ,cleanliness and amenities. Staff is on 24 hour service which is excellent.

Cons: Breakfast has to be improved. It has the same menu everyday. Very little to food. Many cheeses but less breakfast material. Boiled eggs only, as opposed to scrambled ,sunny side up or fully done eggs. Too many cold salads everyday and less food.More plug points required in rooms.

Pros: Can be improved. Cater chicken, not cold meats all the time. They should have eggs on the go scrambled,sunny sidecup etc, not only boiled eggs.. Should have fruit available and yoghurt..

Cons: Chairs should be re-cushioned.. It's very low.. Toilet paper should be more than one. Lighting in rooms to be improved..

great staff, great location, great break fast

Pros: Location: the location is a huge plus, you are 15 min away from the main attractions, also that you can reach taksim and the Asian side so easy by walking 6 min till the metro station was great plus. Breakfast: unlike the ratings for the breakfast, it was excellent. you had every thing you expect for a breakfast meal. Staff: very friendly and helpful, speaks Turkish, English, and some speak also Arabic.

Cons: Noise: the noise wasnt the worst till a point that you cant sleep, but it was there, however if you have a long day walking in Istanbul, you would come look for the bed and you wouldnt care how much noise you will hear because you will be already dead :))

Pros: We had no time even to appreciate the hotel since, although we had a regular reservation on Booking, as soon as we arrived the receptionist informed us that, because of the lack of room availability, we need to move to a different nearby hotel (Alpine Hotel), where I got a less than 4 square meters room instead of the room I reserved AND payed for. It was hard for me even to open my luggage on the Alpinn room floor. My advice to the Marmaray Hotel is to respect customers by informing them in time in these cases.

Cons: Since we were not informed on the change of the hotel (!) for our reservation at all, the lack of respect for customers needs to be fixed.

Pros: I liked how the linens had holes in them. I liked how tha bathroom had black mold. I liked how neither the TV or the AC worked. I like how this is a 2star hotel pretending to be a 4 star one. But above all I liked how that they put a family with a small baby in 12 sq.m. room even when we booked 20sq.m room. Such a small room where the fridge door could not be opened fully or we had to play acrobats every time we tried to traverse the room.

Classic Turkish breakfast plus several types of salads, there was water with cinnamon and lemon.

Pros: I have visited the hotel before. clean and comfortable rooms, excellent location next to the metro station, a huge restaurant with a view of the sea .Extremely friendly staff, as a welcome we received fruit and water.

Pros: Breakfast was pretty awesome. Cheese cake, hot chocolate, french fries and loads of other stuff whilst having a great view on the sea with cargo ships. The hotel isnt new, but they try to make the best of it. Housekeeping is professional and good. Location is kinda central in regards to the main shopping road, but its still about a 30 minute walk to Sophia. The next subway station is 5 minutes away across a busy road. Everybody was always very helpful and the stay was quite pleasurable indeed.
