Perfect

Absolutely perfect!

Pros: I haven't rated a hotel 10/10 in a very long time and I'm very happy to say that Hammamhane exceeded my expectations! A beautiful, spacious and squeaky-clean room, at one of the liveliest neighborhoods of Istanbul, combined with a very kind and helpful staff! I totally recommend it!

Unbeatable location with incredible service!

Pros: The service and friendliness is a highlight. Because we were switching hotels in Istanbul to this one, rather than just securing our bags, they allowed us to do an early check-in which was incredible. While this is an exception and not the norm, it was incredibly appreciated. The room was spacious, super clean, had a wonderful balcony. The hotel has two accesses, allowing you to get in and out from different streets at the center of all the action. It's at an incredible location, next to the shopping area, and to lots of hip coffee shops and nice restaurants. It's also a stroll away from the water and connected to public transport.

Pros: After walking through at least 30 different parts of Istanbul - I think the location of Hammamhane is literally perfect. And the building and rooms are gorgeous.

Highly recommended, will come back.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere, wonderful breakfast and a lovely sized room which was quiet. Location was ideal from which to access by foot many attractions.

Lovely stay

Pros: Amazing breakfast and perfect room. Our room was like a little apartment and would be perfect for a longer stay. We loved having breakfast in the dining room and sitting at a table with a street view.

Incredibly rude manager!! Not coming back

Pros: Nice location, nice restaurant, nice food.

Cons: The owner -or manager- was incredibly rude and ridiculously unfriendly. Maybe he did not understand me, or was unable to pay sufficient attention, but the fact that I could not pay with my phone and my wallet was in my bag in the storage room actually unfolded as a major issue, leading to a confrontation at the moment of settling our bill. I feel sorry for the rest of the staff that was actually nice and tried to be helpful. But this person has temper control issues, lack of interest in his clientele and limited capabilities to be at the front desk. Should be in the back office to preserve reputational capital. Will never return to this hotel and will inform my friends, relatives and colleagues.

Fantastic comfortable hotel

Pros: Had such a great stay here, our room was very comfortable and it was very convenient to have our own kitchen in the room, I wish more hotels offered this. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast every day was great, varied every day. I would highly recommend staying here.

Cons: It didnt bother us but our room at the front did get a bit of noise from the street, if you are not used to city noise I could request a room facing the courtyard at the back.

Great hotel in good location

Pros: Lovely hotel on a quiet road in a busy part of town. Great location and staff - lovely rooms.

If I had to come back to Istanbul, I will definetley stay at Hammamhane again.

Pros: Our Appartment was stunning, very clean and quick access to public transportation whilst being a little bit away from the main streets. Overall we had a very nice stay in Istanbul!

Great location and a homey stay

Pros: Great location in a beautiful, hip, trendy and lively neighborhood. Walking distance from many restaurants and shops and a tram station. The room was large and comfortable for a group of 3 (with extra rollaway bed). The complimentary breakfast was delicious and provided for a large time frame. The small kitchen was perfect for light meals or heating up leftovers. The hamam next door is also stunning and worth a visit. We scheduled private airport transports through the hotel which was very helpful and convenient.

Cons: The bathroom in our room was tiny and hard to move around in. For the size of the room, it could have been much bigger. For a group of 3 friends the semi transparent shower door was a little awkward - we had to find a solution by covering it with a towel. Staff was helpful but some of them were very curt and short - we preferred to ask a specific few for help/recommendations.

High standard lodge.

Pros: Exceptional place. Appartment was an attic with 40sqm terrace, on the pricey side (170eur per night, with fantastic breakfast included). Even though we didnt use it, kitchen fully equiped. Even there is washing machine. Extremely pleasant staff. Nice located and quiet.

Cons: No vegetal milk for breakfast, but sure they will change that...

Pros: Our room was very cozy and clean, the spacious terrace was a cherry on a cake. The hotel's staff is friendly and helpful.

Cons: We booked a room with a kitchen on purpose as we wanted to cook dinners in our trip. However, unfortunately, the kitchen lacked the utensils.. there was no cutting knife for instance (we were given one when asked - a small one). Also there was no any towel, no cleaning soap and no sponge. No salt o pepper (I've rented other places where all these things were provided). It could be more equipped in our opinion.

Pros: My entire stay was wonderful! To begin with, communication with the property was very easy prior to my arrival. Check-in was seamless and I immediately felt welcome. The studio room was lovely, perfect for my several day stay -- I made use of the washing/drying machine, and felt like it was the perfect amount of space for my trip. Bed was very comfortable and at night the room is quiet, even on weekends. The location of this hotel is ideal, the entire area is filled with charming boutiques and shops, excellent restaurants, walkable to many neighborhoods, and with a tram line within 10 minutes walk. I can't imagine a better spot to be based in for a trip to Istanbul. The hotel staff were all so accommodating and friendly, and truly made the stay even more wonderful. I also made use of the associated hammam next door which was an excellent experience. Breakfast every day was great, and they have tea/coffee/water at any time throughout the day for free.
