    Great hotel..and pet friendly too!

    Pros: Booked on booking but was on 3rd floor and far walk up and over. Paid extra to get a room on ground floor. Very nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great as well..hard workers..all of them! Pool is huge and lovely.
    Cons: Didnt really like that some people would put towels on limited sunbeds and not attend them..All day and for days in a row..never saw them..Why, when others could use them? Kind of rediculous imo. Not hotels fault but maybe a policy..if you dont use your beds for 4 hours..towels removed.

    There are many hotels in the area that are much better value for money

    Pros: Good location close to the beach
    Cons: The Thai villa that I booked was dirty . The taps and sink in the bathroom was still covered with dirty marks from whoever used the room before me . The safety box didnt work . There was lots of ants in the room . The TV would not switch off as the batteries in the remote control didnt work and the breakfast was poor .

    Great place to stay for location and price, nice hotel grounds pool gardens etc, just a bit basic in the rooms and a bit

    Pros: Very good location nxt to the beach and close to popular areas for eating and drinking, friendly staff and nice big pool area, nice gardens to relax in, good price for location, my room was pretty basic and newly renovated
    Cons: Hard bed but still ok for me, pretty loud in the night from air conditioning unit and loud fridge, also early morning you can hear the wildlife, so light sleepers would not sleep well

    An old classics of Pattaya

    Pros: Basaya is one of the Pattaya's classics: constructed around a huge garden with a large swimming pool, it is a peaceful haven in the area which is yet busy (numerous restaurants, cafes, bars...). The "New Standard" rooms were recently renovated and feature a fridge, large flat screen TV with international programs, large working desk, A.C. working properly all the time. Wifi was planned to be accessible from individual rooms.
    Cons: -- Contrary to what booking.com claims (and contrary to the previous practice of Basaya in 2017, 18, 19), the hotel does NOT accept American Express cards. -- Although the wifi signal is detectable inside the room, the laptop connection to Internet is unstable and works only sporadically; and, if so, then with rather a narrow bandwidth. The problem seems to be known to the management but categorized as "unsolved mysteries". If you get desperate you can use the Internet cafe Ja Jaa Net, the same street as Basaya, approx. 600 m to the East (i.e. away from the sea). -- Conclusion: In spite of the weak points just mentioned I will come, in future, to Basaya again.

    I would certainly stay there again should I come back to Pattaya

    Pros: I had a room with balcony in the newer part of the hotel which was nice. Very nice swimming pool which I enjoyed very much.
    Cons: Not the most modern and fanciest hotel but quite OK.

    Pros: Location is good but quite far from walking street. Beach is just across the road and Central mall is walkable.
    Cons: Overall property is very old and need to refurbished. Bathroom no running hot water. Lobby area smells bad.

    Pros: Incredible place great staff giant pool close to everything. Reminds me of a Hollywood Hemingway hotel back in the 60s. Pets are welcome and a joy to be around.
