Residence Inn is an extended stay hotel chain owned by Marriott. Founded in 1975, this chain of hotels started in Wichita, Kansas, through the efforts of Robert L. Brock and Jack DeBoer. It was only in 1987 that Residence Inn made some changes after it was acquired by Marriott International. As of 2018, this hotel chain has 803 hotels scattered all over Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

During its early years, Residence Inn buildings had were patterned after an outbuilding style. Today, the modern constructions have suites inside the building that are much larger as compared to a conventional hotel room. Guests are able to relax in spacious suites, with standard suites measuring at 450 sq. ft. and a two-bedroom suite are at 750 sq. ft.

    Cons: I've stayed here quite a few times. However, this last stay was not as good. The suite was not clean. Upon pulling out the sleep sofa, there were food wrappers, crumbs, and dust all over, and underneath the sofa was dirty.

    Pros: The location was great. The pool was heated and kept immaculate. The hot tub was great. The room was spacious and it was great having the kitchen in it. Breakfast was exceptional with many choices and tasted good. I found the staff very friendly.

    Pros: The rooms are very spaceious and well equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The kitchen even had dishes and cookwear. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Plenty of parking.
    Cons: There was a cheerleading convention in town that weekend, and while most guests were respectful there were a select few above me making a lot of noise and running/jumping around. I thought the hotel could have done better to deal with this disturbance.

    Good

    It was good and my kids loved the pool.

    Pros: Convenient good location close to the highway
    Cons: The room needed some repairs. The faucet in the kitchen was leaking. The shower needed some caulking in spots also around the floor to the shower needed repair. The toilet paper holder was broken. Stuff like that should be looked after on a $200 per night hotel. The water in the pool wasnt clear.
