    Room cancelled last minute at night by property

    Pros: Rien.
    Cons: The hotel cancelled my room the day of my arrival while I was on the plane to sell it out of the booking site for a more expensive price. They will cancel your room last minute if someone offers more money onsite. They waited for me to be on the plane the D-Day (they had this info) when I was not able to answer to their question in 2 hours, they cancelled my room. They told me they sent me multiple request beforehand. I asked them to send it to me. They never replied back lol. There was no pre payment required (all payment onsite) and the check in was until 10pm. When I arrived at 7pm to pay onsite, my room was gone. I have all the screenshots and pictures of that. I also have an audio of me talking in the case they say I was inappropriate. They will find anything to justify to leave a client on the street. I ended up after 24hrs flights alone, at night, on the street in high season. They didn't help me to find one or didn't help me to pay nothing. I found one after HOURS three time the price I should have paid here. They always reply. When I ask them the proof of what they are saying, they disappear. Oh also, they blamed booking at one point on Google.

    Unhelpful Staff, don't book there

    Cons: This property had overbooked and when we arrived to check in, they were expecting us and knew that there was no room for us. They offered absolutely no help. The receptionist just said that his manager forgot to close of booking.com so it showed rooms available when in fact was sold out. He told us to go onto booking.com and cancel the booking. I said no as if we do that we will be charged a cancellation fee, that he should have informed us and that he should cancel from his end. Again, he offered no apologies or help with alternative accommodation. I'm a former hotel receptionist so totally understand these things happen, but the lack of service was shocking.
