Pros: Happy to be able to have our dog stay with us when we were showing at crufts.

Pros: Room was great, clean and well appointed. Even the loos in the bar area were well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The young lady behind reception seemed genuinely interested in what my dog had won at Crufts, which was nice. The dressing gowns and slippers were a lovely touch. The addition of the dog waste bin was very welcome too.

Cons: The room was very warm, despite turning the radiator off and opening the only window which opened. This was a very small window at the top of the frame, so of very little use. I found the drinks extremely expensive in the bar too. Plus I object to having to pay parking when I have already paid quite a high price for my room.

Good stay for one night.

Pros: Clean & easy to get to. Location perfect for what we needed. The breakfast was great! Staff were friendly & attentive.

Cons: Dinner wasn’t great & wouldn’t say value for money.

Pros: Very friendly staff and handy to Coventry city centre.

Cons: Rooms need a refurb. Shower/toilet leaking which wasn’t fixed until the end of our stay. Water leaked through to the bedroom carpet and needed to keep towels down in the bathroom.

Not as stress free as...

Pros: Upgraded to very comfortable room after issues with the first. Close to hospital.

Cons: The first room I checked into had a clothes moth infestation. Literally everywhere - I must’ve counted about 20 crawling up the curtains, walls and ceiling without looking very hard. They started going for my clothes as soon as I walked in! I think I’ve managed to bring them back with me despite checking everything. The other issue was no one was at the desk when I wanted to check in. I waited for a few minutes and a man came from outside clearly chatting to someone he knew. Then when I called from my room to mention the moths, no one answered the phone. I stayed on for a couple of minutes but still no answer so had to walk back to the desk to find no one there again. The same man then ran back in from outside again leaving whoever he was catching up with to help me. No idea who it was and maybe it was another staff member but it didn’t feel hugely professional. This was only around 8pm so wasn’t a late check in. I was however upgraded to a much cleaner room with no infestations and had a very comfortable nights sleep!

Would stay again.

Pros: Room was clean, bed was comfortable, WIFi decent and good choice at Breakfast. Staff very polite and helpful. Lots of supermarkets and restaurants in short walking distance.

Cons: Room doors were heavily spring-loaded, which meant you could hear them slamming shut pretty often through the night. Cooked buffet breakfast a little cold.

Pros: Location was chosen as my husband had a training course there so was super convenient - was close to some shops and a restaurants too. Breakfast was tasty with lots of options and staff in the dining area were friendly and helpful. We've stayed at lots of chain hotels recently and this was by far the nicest.

Cons: I don't understand why there is no Fridge and microwave in the rooms. Housekeeping did not clean the room or change the sheets we had to ask before the sheets were changed.

Pros: Excellent stay from check in to check out. Friendly and professional reception and in house staff. Executive room was very clean with all expected facilities , what was not expected was a very full and complimentary mini bar. We stayed on a DBB basis and although the dinner menu was limited the food was very good both in quality and quantity as was the self serve breakfast . Overall an excellent stay at a hotel which we recommend

Cons: The wine at dinner was slightly expensive . Suggest management consider providing a red/ white / rose house wine as part of the DBB package
