Pros: Room was well appointed, had a nice view of the lake.

Cons: Upon checking in, we were asked to pay almost double what we had been told multiple times and over multiple types of communication to pay. We were told that nothing could be done until the manager came in the morning. I spent over an hour talking to Hilton customer service and Booking.com customer service as it did not sit right with me that we were to be charged almost double the rate for the room without any notification before coming to the hotel. The person at the front desk even said there was a note saying we had been contacted despite not having received an email or phone call or voicemail about the price change. Despite having emails and messages stating the price, nothing could be done until the following morning. The next morning we arrived at the front desk a half hour after we were told the manager would be in. We were told she was running late. About 15 minutes she comes out to speak with us, handing us a piece of paper with the change in charges for our room, to the price we had been told it would be. She blamed the issue on it being a 3rd party booking and that Booking.com should have told us about the price change and/or she wasn't sure why it wasn't communicated to her staff. She feigned that she was new to the property and would be reviewing processes to ensure things of this nature didn't happen again. I asked what could be done for us as this incident ruined our stay. She said nothing could be done except to apologize. I don't normally look for free things or discounts but the lack of empathy or willingness to show contrition in this situation was astounding.

Pros: The size of the room was good.. We needed a sleeper sofa and this room had one.

Cons: The room is dated. The HVAC was loud and musty smelling. There initially wasn't hot water, just warm water. The mini fridge didn't work. The room did not provide any bottled water, even for purchase. The room was located in a very odd part of the hotel. Immediately next to the elevators, and the view out the window was into another building just 10 ft away. So a terrible room location.

Cons: The room had a ceiling spot yellow like wet, there were doing laundry all night and it was on the same floor it didn’t leave sleep well really noise heat that woke up up like someone hit the room

Cons: The air conditioning was right to the bed, so it was somehow uncomfortable. The hotel was packed and not all the elevators were working. Big lines to take the elevators.
