Excellent place to stay, metro station in front of the hotel and many convenience stores.

Pros: The suite was well equiped, the devices available were of good quality an daily cleaning helped a lot. The kitchen was complete and the bed was comfortable to sleep, big room and everything in the room worked as expected.

Cons: The door of the room and elevator give you a small electric shock all the time, quite annoying. I asked for a taxi when leaving the hotel but never arrived, I had to look for one on my own, the staff could have been more helpful with it.

Excellent stay in Seoul

Pros: Subway and buses just outside. Nice room with a comfortable bed. Quiet area - except for the protesters but they honestly weren't a problem at all, hardly heard them and I appreciate their right to free speech. Area had some nice coffee/sandwich shops.

Cons: The Glad visual image seems to be dark, dark bricks/walls/everything! This can make it seem, particularly in the corridors, very depressing, like a prison feeling. However, once in the room it is clean, comfortable, well cared for and guests are provided with everything they need for a good stay.

Lovely stay, but rushed morning

Pros: It is a really fantastic hotel. I had a very comfortable night. The bed is so comfortable and the rooms are lovely and large. The staff were also kind and spoke Korean and English.

Cons: I do think however that the breakfast time ends very early (9am) and as someone travelling for leisure it was upsetting to have to get up at 7:30am to even be able to enjoy it without being rushed. For the price, I think a rushed breakfast and checkout time was a little early, and should be a little more flexible if not later.

We had a wonderful holiday in Seoul at this hotel and would definitely consider this hotel again.

Pros: We spent two weeks in this hotel and in Seoul, so I would like to dwell on our stay in Glad in more detail. 1. Quietness. I read a lot of reviews about this hotel, that since the National Assembly building is nearby and that there is often noise. Yes, there is some noise, but it was only in the morning. Each time we fell asleep in silence and in the morning we could hardly hear him. The hotel's noise insulation is excellent, so we have no complaints here. 2. Staff. It was our first time in Seoul and of course we had organisational issues. The staff at the hotel were lovely and helpful with any questions we had. Thank you so much for your help with organising flowers for the 14th of March, finding a phone repair service and also for helping us find locations from Dramas. 3. Breakfasts. We're not fans of spicy cuisine, so we were worried whether the breakfasts would be adapted to a European audience. In the end there was no cause for concern, there were lovely breakfasts that didn't get boring after so long. The choice of food and quality was excellent. 4. Transport accessibility. This point is less relevant to living in hotels, but I also think this point is very important. Directly across the road is the entrance to the metro, as tourists, transport accessibility cannot be more convenient! Be careful with the type of trains. Express trains (marked red in the metro) do not stop at this station. 5. Shops/Cafes etc. Everything you need, including even the most ordinary shops, is literally a 2-minute walk away. 7/11 gs25 is also on the next street. Overall, I found the location of the hotel to be extremely good. 6. Hotel room We didn't spend much time in the room but the room itself was excellent and fresh, spacious shower room and very comfortable bed. Also our room on the 12th floor had an amazing view of the skyscrapers.

Cons: 1. Cleaning. I have some comments regarding cleaning, I hope the hotel staff will treat this with understanding. Bed linen was changed regularly and the room was always cleaned upon return. But under the closet there was always a little dust, I dont know if they cleaned the vacuum cleaner there, but could you please pay attention to this. And at one point, our hotel slippers were taken away and we didnt get new ones until we left. However, every evening we returned so tired that we did not pay much attention to it. We certainly could have asked the hotel team about this, but there was no urgent need for this. So this is just an observation. :) Otherwise the cleaning of the room was good and we had no further comments. I would like to say a huge thank you for a wonderful holiday in Seoul!
