Pros: They have done a great job revamping an older hotel into a modern, inviting space. The location to the Gondola can’t be beat, and the breakfast and wine hour were major bonuses. The hot tub was nice and we appreciated free parking. We got upgraded to a suite (major bonus!) that was decadently luxurious - “this is practically the size of my apartment” said our Bay Area friend. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Cons: Price was a little higher than we hoped for but the free parking and giant breakfast made up for it.

Pros: Very old property but recently remodeled so looked fresh and felt clean. Loved that the property sits right under the Heavenly gondola and provided free parking and free breakfast! It is an older property but location cannot be beat.

Cons: Unfortunately my stay was not good at all I traveled here with family for a wedding in the area upon arrival the first half of our group entered the room and noticed a dirty men’s Speedo in the bathroom. We were on a strict itinerary and really didn’t have time to go to the front desk and tell them what was in the room and we all decided it was something we could look past as we wouldn’t be in the room much over the weekend. The first time we all arrived back at the room around 1-2am and noticed the tv in the main bedroom was broken as well as majority of the lights in the second bedroom did not work. Upon morning taking a shower we were met with clogged drains in the shower filled with hair from previous guests. Once again we were on a strict itinerary and needed to be at wedding requirements as early as 7am. Our group decided we would go to the front desk on the last day of our stay and explain the conditions of the room as we finally had time to go up and talk to the front desk. The front desk said okay sorry about that and left it at that which then I requested a partial refund as it didn’t seem like they were shocked or bothered that the room was in bad condition. After check out we then realized they charged us for the broken tv because they claim they thoroughly check all the room after every guest checks out. I can’t imagine they checked our room that well before our stay as there was dirty mens spedo in the bathroom along with the other issues I described. I’m disappointed as when I called to get this resolved I was told I’d have to take to the manager but they aren’t in and couldn’t tell me when to expect to hear back.

A great snow trip

Pros: The room was so spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable as well as the couch.

Pros: Great location close to everything. Shops and restaurants.

Cons: we went in March which was very cold and the heater would not work all the time. One morning we woke up and it was 63° and the heater would not even come on.

Pros: Great location, good breakfast, friendly staff. The rooms are huge and were very clean. Nothing to complain really! Would recommend to anyone!

Cons: The interior design is kind of old style, but very practical. The TV was not smart and we could not cast to it (except for Samsung Android which we did not have). But who wants to watch TV while in Tahoe?
