    A good alternative to stay in Chiayi

    Pros: I booked this hotel on the last minutes, I didn't have too much expectation. However, there was still a room available. The staff was very helpful in the check in and providing the parking. They were also able to communicate in English. The room was large with standard equipment. to my surprise, there was a bathtub. The breakfast was good and had vegetarian menu.

    Pros: The open-air carpark was convenient and easy to find. A large supermarket was just a road away. We were preparing for a hike at Yushan early the next day, so this was convenient as we were stocking up on items. They upgraded our room and the facilities were good. A staff constantly called the lift for us, which was a nice touch. Thank you!
    Cons: For our stay, everything was good. The air-con was a bit cold for early Spring, but I suppose it means its good for the hotter months :)

    Very good. Excellent value for...

    Pros: The staff was excellent. Extremely kind and nice, even though they did not speak much English. The room was big, clean and very comfy. The shower pressure was excellent. Breakfast was good too. If I ever go back to Chiayi I will stay again for sure.
    Cons: The facilities are maybe a bit old, but it is very comfy and clean. A little bit far away from the train station and the main sights (25 min walking)

    Pros: Very clean and professional looking hotel. Breakfast is good. Staff is nice. Room is big, soundproof is good, clean and well equipped. Very good value for money.
    Cons: Breakfast room is a bit dingy, a little of a walk from train station if you have lots of luggage (but then its a good way to explore the town).

    Great location, clean rooms, good...

    Pros: Great location - lots of restaurants and shops nearby. I called a couple of times to enquire about the rooms before I booked. Staff was friendly and helpful.
    Cons: Breakfast buffet was ok. However the staff at breakfast buffet were not friendly which was a letdown. Two minutes before the breakfast finishing time the waitress came and informed us the breakfast time is now finished and she started clearing your table.
