Pros: The location is fantastic! It is right next door to a subway stop, and there are tons of excellent food, shopping and attractions all around. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. The room was clean, everything was functioning as it should and we loved being able to open the window for fresh air. The room had a small refrigerator and tea kettle. Zero problems with the wifi and I was able to work as needed.

Cons: The room was quite small, but it is typical for the area. Pack lightly and/or be very organized and you'll be fine. There is a fire or ambulance service on the same road, so if you are a light sleeper, ask for an interior room, or at least one on the higher levels.

Exceptional

Pros: Great position, very near to subway station, mini-market and Shinjuku area. The staff was very kind, providing luggage expedition to next destination and keeping our luggage after the check out. Cleanroom service everyday with free bottles of water and green tee. Very nice the washing machine inside the hotel.

Cons: No kitchen to serve breakfast or meals. The Tulu's Coffee shop serves breakfast, but it is outside the hotel.

Cons: The walls were dirty, there was a hole in the wall, cannot control the room temperature it was too hot and not well ventilated. The room was xtra small, the toilet walls were dirty. Too dusty under the bed. Overall it wasnt a clean hotel room.

Cons: The room was small and shabby. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The communal areas were neat but did not feel very clean unfortunately.

Pros: The location is exceptional. Staff very friendly. The room is quite small but I think its the Japans standards. Super clean. Cant complain. The breakfast is quite simple. Ok to start the day though, but need to eat something else somewhere after it. We could keep one luggage for free on our return the next week.

Pros: The staff are so lovely and helpful. The hotel is right next to the Metro, across the road from Mc Donald's and Convince Stores which can be helpful after a long day of exploring! Also a lovely cafe just downstairs. I like we had a little Fridge and Kettle in the room, I even ended up wearing the rooms Pj's and slippers. It was also my first experience with a heated toilet seat which was amusing. There is a washer and dryer on one floor and some Vending machines and ice on another floor. I was so anxious for my first trip to Japan but honestly staying here was just perfect for our needs and such good value for money. The area is Shinjuku which people said wasn't a nice area but we went wandering at night as 2 females and felt completely safe at all times. We slept so well and the rooms are nice a quiet.

Cons: The room is a little cramped if you are not organised, but it's no big deal.

Pros: The staff was nice and helpful. The location was great. The underground train station/metro was right next door. Shinjuku city center was 10 minutes away.

Cons: The bathroom in our room wasn't really clean on our check in day. And even after a few days it still hadn't been cleaned properly.
