Pros: Gorgeous Long Beaches Good Selection of Foods in the Restaurant and all inclusive drinks Staff very friendly & helpful Room was lovely

Cons: Although we had our own bit of beach it was impossible to get in and out of the sea because of the coral We were a long way away from everything with a small child .. Buggy waits at busy times were often long and ate in to our holiday! Transfer times on the way back meant leaving very very early with long waits for flights and a very long journey home Dodgy singer in one of the bars !!

It was a great experience and I will recommend the Canareef resort to anyone going to the Maldives

Pros: There was a system in place to handle every aspect of our stay there and so I rate their organization very good. The staff were courteous and the manager even went out of his way once to drive my wife and I to a location while we were waiting for the usual beach buggy

Cons: Snorkelling was a bit disappointing - would be nice to have a way to get to the housereef which was reportedly much better than the shallow options at the south end of the island.

Cons: The reservations team didnt arrange my domestic flight transfer so I was left waiting in the airport lounge in Male for just over 7 hours, missing the entire first day. The A La Carte options practically non existent and poor quality - so I struggled with what to eat each day. I had items stolen from my suitcase, bathroom & backpack making me feel extremely unsafe & I put down not disturb on the door for the remainder of the holiday. Good job I put my purse & passport in the safe.

Pros: Fabulous location and really helpful friendly staff. Loved the snorkeling beach. Great selection of food every meal.

Cons: A bit sketchy on how to do things / book things at times...lacked a room resort guide or app. We loved the free bikes and used them every day, but anyone with any degree of mobility difficulty would need a villa close to reception or the main restaurant.

wonderful holiday in a quiet place

Pros: in one word, excellent - location, peace, cleanliness, the taste of the food in the restaurant, the facilities, the friendliness of the staff, simply everything is great. I was surprised by the cleaning of the villa twice a day, an amazing experience is the private hot tub, a wonderful view of the sea and the stars. It was very pleasant to be able to rent bikes for free together with the free buggy pick-up service. Always excellent and smiling service at the bars, really tasty cuisine

Cons: Slightly stumbling service here and there in the restaurant, which sometimes seemed chaotic. The sea was not very nice - still cloudy, full of kelp, surprisingly the whole coast was littered with dead and broken coral

Pros: The island, the beach , the house reef, the picnic island. The scenery.

Cons: Nothing really. It was a lovely holiday.

Pros: The resort was beautiful, lovely quiet island with a tropical feel and picturesque scenery. The jacuzzi bungalow was right on the beach and had a romantic feel along with a great location and facilities. Went the extra mile for Valentines and made the stay very special. Staff were amazing and very friendly.

Cons: The food was good in places, but sometimes lacked quality. Breakfast was good at times but sometimes let down by choice and selection. The drinks were inconsistent and not great quality. Wine in tiny glasses and cocktails in oversized glasses with poor quality ingredients. Coffee good one day and not great the next. The Meera restaurant was strange as the menu was limited and not just Asian although its an Asian cuisine restaurant, very quiet, no music and cast open spaces which werent being utilised. Main bar and nightlife was crazy loud with poor singer, rave music at the end which was a bit Euro pop, funnily enough we place dance music and a party atmosphere but this just didnt fit with the resort and expected something g more relaxed and refined.
