Oktoberfest is the world’s largest “Volksfest” and has become a worldwide event even though it originated in Germany. Munich Is where this event all began! Oktoberfest in Munich is a 2 weeklong event that must be experienced at least once in your lifetime. This year Nashville celebrates its 40th annual Oktoberfest! At this event, there is fun for everyone. There will be many vendors offering traditional German beer and food as well as vendors with arts and crafts. Cincinnati does Oktoberfest so big that this year the Friday before the event is a city-wide holiday! More than half a million people attend the Zinzinnati Oktoberfest. At their 43rd annual celebration party-goers can be part of the world’s largest chicken dance and of course eat all the brats and drink all the German beer they can.
