During the month of May up until June, Bordeaux Fête le Fleuve is celebrated every other year which is considered to be the city’s biggest festival. It celebrates its river, with numerous shows, concerts, river trips, dancing, fireworks, a variety of foods and mass swim across Garonne. After that, the Dansons sur les Quais will be celebrated from June up until August where dancing enthusiasts can come together to showcase their talents or to share them with aspiring dancers. In between these annual events is the Médoc Marathon held in September for sport enthusiasts.
