Fabulous hotel in beautiful, charming...

Pros: The room was well appointed with views over the canal as I requested. Lovely breakfast in the gorgeous great room overlooking the beautiful gardens with extremely attentive staff throughout the week. Location was superb - in the old town area close to cafes, shops and an easy walk to many museums. We felt pampered all week and would definitely book the hotel again.

Cons: Cannot think of anything we didn't like - only that our week there flew by far too quickly and we had to leave!!

Definitely untrained night staff for...

Pros: Bel hôtel . Emplacement central . Bonne literie.

Cons: Ridiculous overbearing night personnel that call you several times to insistently ask for your arrival time like it was some sort of boarding school. I got insistently asked for my card details several times to place a hold on it although all the other 4 and 5* hotels in which I have stayed never insist and everything was payed for in advance. My friends came to my room for 5 minutes on our way out to a concert and they were forced for have their ID card scanned , give their adresses and state the reason of their visit. It felt like a gloomy prison. The breakfast is unsatisfying.It was just a very uncomfortable experience. Do yourself a service and avoid this place. Never going back !

Pros: Everything was perfekt, Room &Location , Great Breakfast ! Even though we checked out before breakfast serving time They made it possible that we could still enjoy our breakfast.

Beautiful house in the city...

Pros: Everything was great. We arrived past 11 pm at night, it was near Christmas time, staff was wearing Christmas sweaters, we were welcomed by their special warming drink. It’s very beautiful inside, nice corridors, nice decoration. It’s an old house and you can expect smaller rooms and ceilings, small and steep stairs etc. They had a nice breakfast and great service. The room was good - small but cosy with a bathtub in the room. Outside they also have an area for sitting and drinking, relaxing but the weather was not fitting for it.

Cons: They were ongoing some constructions/maintenance inside but it didn’t bother us.
