Unsafe and filthy

Pros: Nothing

Cons: By far the worst place ever! Rented 2 rooms for 2 nights. Left early. I could not stay here. My room has two bullet holes in the window. Which was also covered in graffiti. Both rooms were filthy. Cigarette burns in all comforters. Water leak in one bedroom. Walls covered with filth. My bed has a random pubic hair and cocoa pebble when I pulled back the blanket. I tried to sleep in the filth. We couldn't. We checked out at 5am. Went to a different hotel for the remainder of our stay. I washed the filth off me. DO NOT go here. It's a rent by the hour kind of place!

Pros: The room serviced it's purpose, close to Veterans Memorial Coliseum for the Winterhawks game (whole purpose of visiting Portland). Bed was actually pretty comfy as well. Noise was decent, but nothing the hotel could do about it (Light rail stop across the street). Room was a nice size for the price, I wasn't expecting that. The clerk on duty the next day (might have been the manager) was super nice & was very helpful. Thank you to whoever you were. You made up for the Friday night person....(see below).

Cons: The night clerk on duty when we arrived was a bit rude when I checked in. There were some fees I didn't see or recall when I booked & instead of trying to be reasonable about my concerns she just kept going on with the check in. I had paid already, so I wasn't sure if she was just tacking on those or charging me again. The rumble of the Light rail was a bit, but after awhile I got use to it. Building must be old as every time I walked across the floor there was creaking.

Pros: NOTHING!

Cons: We checked into to our hotel OYO Portland, Oregon 2/3/24 in the evening. Our keys didn't work. I went to the property mgr. He did something on the computer. We tried again. The keys still didn't work. So the property mgr tried and the door would still not unlock. He had to take the entire system apart. I walked over near my car while waiting. I suddenly heard someone screaming and yelling. I turned and saw someone yelling. This person was partially naked and clearly had mental health issues and/or drug related issues. It was disturbing. As I walked toward our room the person I was traveling with pointed at the person yelling and said she came out of our room when the property manager got the door to open. I was in disbelief but immediately stated we will not be staying in that room. He told me they had no other vacancies. I said I wanted my money back. He told me I had to call the main corporate OYO phone line. I went to my car and attempted 3 times to speak with someone at OYO and was disconnected all 3 times. I went back to the property manager and told him to refund my money. I did manage to get my money refunded after several days. We had a show to see in a few hours so we had to scramble to find something available. This nightmare ruined the plans we had before the show because we had to spend time trying to find a place to stay. I will NEVER stay at a OYO hotel. The property was filthy and disgusting. And trying to connect with them is impossible. After my experience, I believe they have their phone system purposefully setup so you can never speak with a live person. DO NOT STAY AT OYO. I still have not been refunded what I had to pay them for parking. But I think a lawyer will get that money back for me. And then some.

Pros: The location is outstanding. Great for any event at Moda. Sheets were clean.

Cons: Room was damaged and ill equipped (no hair dryer, microwave or heat). Cold with very thin blankets. Unclean carpet and bathroom. Safety concerns, not kid friendly. Hidden parking fee.

Pros: Had a bed and a mini fridge to keep the food we couldn't eat cold at least.

Cons: Room needs a microwave - really was expecting to have a microwave in our room and were disappointed we had no way to heat up our food. TV kept dimming after watching for more than 5 minutes. They did not tell us we had to pay for parking until we arrived.
