    Peaceful rest and lovely surroundings

    Pros: This is the most amazing place to stay. You get so much more than an excellent night sleep. There are paths to walk and a great gym to perk you up after a long drive. We brought our dog and her crate and we appreciated the paths all the more this time.
    Cons: Nothing to dislike except that we were only passing through for one night.

    Pros: The room was fantastic. The beds were comfortable. There were a lot of people and it was fairly noisy early in the evening. I was getting worried because we were tired. At 11:00 it just went silent. Fantastic!

    Lovely place at a great...

    Pros: Great quality for the price. Instead of a sterile roadside Best Western or something like that you get a beautiful resort with a Tesla charger which was a lifesaver for us.
    Cons: Front desk can't compete with discount websites like Super, but that's an upper management decision, not the clerk's fault.

    Pros: The room was nicely appointed. The conference center was the site of A Night To Shine and I didn’t want to drive the 30+ miles home late into the evening. The Running Y is a highly respected facility in the community.
    Cons: While the rooms were not at full capacity, there was a crying infant in the room next door. Housekeeping carried on a loud conversation in the hallway, starting at 7:30 a.m. promptly at 9 a.m. on a Saturday there was a knock at the door for housekeeping.

    Next time we hope to...

    Pros: The grounds and the surroundings are beautiful. The way the doors automatically open when you arrive at the main lodge doors is a nice touch. The golf pro shop is amazing! So much better than any of the ones where we live. Having golf, swimming, ice skating all close to each other was ideal.
    Cons: The beds and pillows and bedding were all truly uncomfortable. The 3 of us didn’t get any sleep. The mattresses were hard and the pillows were way too full and too hard. The sheets were so stiff, like they were starched polyester and every single time you made a move, the fabric was super loud. The back door to get to and from our car and the pool was broken, so it didn’t stay latched. Anyone can just come in. We let staff know, but then we realized the broken piece has been duct tapped several times, so rather than fix it, they just let it stay broken. The restaurant is nice and quaint and our service Julissa was super nice. Unfortunately the food falls short for a “resort”. Expensive grocery store food.
