Overall pleasant, with friendly staff,...

Pros: The front desk staff were amazing and accommodating. The views were lovely and the room was clean and comfortable.

Cons: There could have been clearer signage directing us to the pool and hot tub. The room service was not great (we were sent the champagne and strawberries package but only given the strawberries ans had to call around to figure out how to get our champagne. And when we tried to order room service we couldn't get through for close to an hour. We had to call the front desk to place our order for us)

Cons: The lack of parental oversight allowed noisy soccer/hockey kids to run up and down the hallways, disturbing guests even as early as 6 am. Additionally, the 2-inch gap under the door only amplified the noise.

Great location but be aware...

Pros: The hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the lake and close to Main Street. We were going to a hockey game and it was just a 20 minute walk to the arena which was convenient. Front desk staff were helpful and pleasant at check in and out.

Cons: We were there a Saturday night and the restaurant in the hotel turns into more of a club/night club at night so it was very noisy and busy. We had ordered room service in the evening and when it didn’t arrive in an hour (it was just cocktails) we cancelled. It was understandable, being a Saturday night but we received no indication of the order not being able to be filled or apology when we followed up to find out our order status. The only other issue was the hotel is in the state of being renovated and our rooms were clearly in the older/not renovated yet part of the hotel. In the bathroom caulking was dirty in the shower and generally things looked dated. I think you are really paying the premium price for the location. In our case it was worth it as we really didn’t spend a lot of time in the room.
