Pros: We liked clean and well-maintained care for rooms, grounds and pool. Very good German food. Friendly owners. Flexible around last minute booking. They were very good at tolerating our naughty 2,5 year old son. Overall, very lovely stay!

Cons: The beach isnt wonderful for swimming.

Pros: We are a South Indian family and found to the food in Philippines to be not to our taste except in J&R. Even my 3 year old kid enjoyed the food and being fed watching the waves. The food was excellent and the beach was gorgeous. Only had the opportunity to stay for 1 day, but I wish we had stayed longer. My wife had a massage and pedicure which she was very happy about.

Amazing, relaxing, pampered, spoilt and we don't want to go home.

Pros: Ralph and Jilo were exceptional hosts, helping us with anything we needed and more. The location has the best views over the water, set in a serene garden. We had many wonderful meals in the dining area overlooking the water, watching the locals fish at night. t was such a peaceful place that allows you to recharge your body and soul. We came mainly for diving (which was awesome), however this residence was beautiful to come back to and relax. You even have a view from in the pool overlooking the sea with a drink in hand! You can walk along the beautiful beach to town, 30 mins away, but why would you leave here when it has everything. We highly recommend J and R. Thank you for having us.

Cons: The attitude upon arrival , the failures of owners to professionally resolve and promptly deal with maintenance issues that put the room we had paid for completely offline and placing us in a shitty dungeon under the dining area unnecessarily as there was another penthouse available identical to what I had paid for, offering me an insulting minimal value to reduce me to this dungeon room from the paid for penthouse suite before forcing me to have to complain and demand to be moved to another Ressort, thank God one of the owners had the common sense that this was necessary. Owner operators of J&R lack the professional skills required to operate a high end accomodation establishment and lack the understanding of what is required and expected and should be included to maintain a rating anywhere what they are claiming. Despite knowing full well of all of the shortfalls of the following establishment the following owner operators failed to make any attempts to compensate and or encourage our desire to want to stay with minor facilities that where all extra $$. in short , " poor service ,poor resolution strategies , over emotional owner operators , lacks available facilities to utilise for a high end hotel in a very remote Ressort unless u want to pay extra,, Owners need to re-assess there situation and hire a well trained manager as they lack essential skillset to manage guest related and quality control of guests experience. Very sad and disappointed.

Don't think about it, just visit!!

Pros: This has been the most genuinely surprising, relaxing, amazing, gorgeous place we have ever stayed at. There are not enough words to describe the beauty of this place and how it just makes you feel. Everything is just so well thought of and we'll maintained. The staff is so amazing and considerate, Michael the bar tender is an awesome person, they're all just really really great!! Ralph and Jilo are the most honest, kindest, funniest and entertaining hosts we've met during our travels, we loved them and everyone so much we extended another 2 days and wish we could just extend indefinitely lol. This is definitely our go to destination from now on every year we come to Bohol, it literally checked every check box we had as travelers. if you come to Anda and do not stay here, you're missing out on a very wonderful and truly outstanding (in every sense of the word) experience.

Really nice and relaxed place in Anda

Pros: In our case, the pool was not crowded so we could enjoy it. You can see the sea from the restaurant or the pool and that was great. Restaurant is always opened so that gives you the opportunity to organise your day as you want. The room was big and everything was clean.

Cons: Even if the hotel is located on a nice beach, it is a bit far from the town and in our case we appreciate more this than the beach. But you can go by motorbike easily so there is no problem.

Pros: The bed was real comfy . Nice dining area , good sea views.
