Disappointing

Pros: The price is very cheap. The hotel has a secure private parking lot.

Cons: There was a damp smell in the room and there were lice on the bed (or pillow). I had several tick bites on my body and neck.

Pros: The room has a kitchenette, microwave oven, stove, dishes, cups, glasses, pots, etc. The shower has a tub. It has a spacious closet and a desk. If you want to go to the supermarket you need to take the bus, there is one, one station further on (bus 66). Friendly attention from the hotel staff. This hotel is in the mountains, a 3-minute drive from Domaine de Gonville Golf Club and 5 minutes from CERN ("European Organization for Nuclear Research", in English, I guess). Close to the 66 bus station.

Cons: We rented a one bedroom apartment for four people. For four people it was definitely a too small and uncomfortable apartment.There were almost no sockets to charge devices, especially in the living room. The kitchen is in the living room, so it is inconvenient to use it while the people there are sleeping, and the shower is in the bedroom, and a similar logic applies there. The "apartment" is just two normal hotel rooms, connected together and with the bathroom in one of them replaced by a kitchen. The microwave was plugged out, so we had to take it out of the shelf completely to plug in. The couch in the living room was a complete nightmare to sleep on - we only got one not very big blanket and the two halves of the couch kept sliding apart, so if the second person wanted to stay under the blanket, they had to sleep in the hole between the mattresses. The key cards worked only about 50% of the time and during our 3 night stay we had to go to reception and ask for new ones twice. There is literally nothing around the hotel and almost no way to go on foot. We weren't able to find a pedestrian road to the shopping center nearby, so even if in theory it is close, in fact it is impossible to get there. During our stay the buses between St Genis and Geneva were constantly cancelled, so we had to walk for an hour from CERN to the hotel (it is not the fault of the hotel, but when traveling without a car one should keep in mind that such situations are possible). The shower "curtain" is just a small piece of glass or plastic and it almost doesn't protect the floor from splashes from the shower. There also were no sponges to wash the dishes and we were given only two dishwasher capsules. There was also not enough cutlery for four people. Lastly, there were very few light sources and in the evening it was dark in the rooms.

I will visit them again soon
